Y'know, I watch Blue Bloods quite often, and I have no idea why. It's crap, but it's really well done, well cast, watchable crap.

True Detective has long term potential if they can attract decent scriptwriters. Similar to bringing in big name actors, bring in the best cinematographers/writers on a one off who have a detective story they want to get out of their system.
