No doubt you'd miss some of the nuances. I didn't make it all the way through the pilot, it just went on too long & the characters weren't involving enough. For waverers who aren't sure about starting the show, I think they could give the pilot a miss, come back to it later maybe. Call it first episodes of Spartacus

Well yes, but you can read the recaps to catch up on the plot points. It's just anyone watching the frankly bloated pilot now after all the negative reviews is unlikely to keep watching the better subsequent episodes.

So Jagger (allegedly) killed a radio host? Cool story, Mick. (Kidding, extremely expensive lawyer man)

Harsh on BE, there was a storyline and a plot being followed, for sure within seasons, if maybe not fully over the whole. It "suffered" from having too many excellent actors and too many stories it wanted to tell. Not a personal viewpoint, but the weakness I've seen thrown against it the most.

No doubt. I'm sure the extent of their contribution to the storyline was Scorsese & Jagger hashing out a one paragraph idea. That's the challenge for the showrunners, taking these cool moments and ideas and forming something coherent to propel the show along over 20?+ episodes

Skip the pilot, it's terrible and does the subsequent eps no favours

Maybe that's the point. The evidence that Richie is some kind of musical savant has mostly come from … Richie. It's hard to see where they're going to go with another season of this. It's enjoyable in parts, and Cannavale & the rest of the cast are doing great work, but Jebus, the story is a mess of clichés and OTT

Think he had it in his post S1 Justified contract that Raylan shooting people was kept to a minimum. Not sure why, but his deathcount is quite light in the remaining seasons.

"Faith and begorrah, I'm sad and heroic and what I wouldn't give for a haircut. Shillelaghs for all!"

"As expressionless as Rodger Moore with Alopecia"

He did his time in the beardy grimfest that Dark Skies became. Blessings upon him.

Shaun and Fuzz were made on the cheap, & benefitted by having to be precise, clever and witty to make up for the lack of budget. World's End was, on the whole, a bloated mess, and the ending was just… enraging.

Chris de Burgh says don't

The Eagles? Don Henley, Ladies & Gentlemen, history's Greatest Monster?

Garth of Izar is the worst since Kevin "Kevan" Lannister.
"Yeah, I think Kevin might raise the family's banner army and march on Kings Landing, but he has to return some chinos to GAP first, so ya'know, he could get delayed"

Someone at CBS, surely:
"It's a FAAAAAKE!!"

This makes me sad. Are you sure he's not just getting a little older and eccentric?

Now do it it Sisko style;
"We've made TOO many compromises, already, too many retreats, Mr Pryce. THEY make fan films, AND we fall back!!!"

I'm jealous that you get to see Justified for the first time. First season is a tad generic, but after that oh my, you are in for a treat.

What an asshat. Did he have David Brent as a role model?
