Yea that steering wheel is truly awful. 

It has huge presence. But because not many people buy them, you get looks of “Oh wow what kind of Lexus is that?” People will walk up to the window and knock on it to ask about the car. Its happened. One time it was a cop that did it.

Also could be the rise of smart phones coupled with the rise of 3+ ton SUVs/trucks with god-awful visibility and chest-high bumpers driven by increasingly angry suburbanites with the spatial awareness of blind zombies. But it’s probably your thing.
