The right way to fix the problem would be to require anyone selling a drone to verify the person they’re selling it to has the necessary qualifications, either commercial or recreational.
In the USA, anyway, the problem is that the FAA is taking an ass-backwards approach to drone safety. They’re over-regulating those of us who do it the right way (get our part-107 commercial certificate, etc) while not addressing the ones who don’t even know what the right way is.
I’m surprised the cops didn’t arrest the pilots and charge them with destroying their property.
RIGHT?!?!? I can’t imagine going through the trouble of doing this then NOT showing that it was done well. it could be zip tied together for all we know.
What a wonderfully specific and unprompted denial. Nah, they’ve gone to the effort of swapping the gearbox and not done any tuning? That don’t wash. I don’t know, this all seems too good to be true. ND, just for general and non specific suspiciousness.
Before starting college I bought a $500 datsun with no A/C, no heater, no speedometer, and worst of all, no radio. So, to fill in the silence as I drove 3 hours home each weekend I would pick up hitchhikers just to have someone to talk to. Everyone thought I was crazy but I figured if any of them tried anything I…
Yeah, babies with bulging muscles and an adversity to people who make those crazy claims.
I don’t live on the United States, I live in Nicaragua, where I live it costs a lot of money to be vegetarian, let alone vegan, I’m sorry, but that’s only possible in nations where you can afford to eat vegetables more often, for instance, if I lived in India it wouldn’t be an effort for me to be vegetarian, but I…
I picked up a hitchiker when I lived in Hawai’i ages ago. There was no long road trip involved (obviously), just some putting around in an orange Super Beetle.
I've always been a firm believer in just consuming whatever you wish to or can consume, there's no ethical consumption under capitalism anyway, so consume away, there will always be things such as lack of access to fresh vegetables, either by elevated prices or just plain unavailable, and the same goes for milk, where…
Those pics of Turkey are gorgeous. We in the west rarely see more of that country than Istanbul. It’s like foreigners thinking the US is just NYC.
“See ya next year!”
Perhaps he was heading out to do some light gardening.
The description of her duties leads me to believe her 78 year old son is doing the hard part, which is lifting and stacking the traps and making sure they go out correctly.
Is it just me, or that steering wheel alignment all funky? At least in the .gif, and in that part of the video.
Good for her if that’s what makes her happy and for the fact that she can still do this work at 101, but fuck that.
The point is that someone other than the owner did this without permission from said owner. This was a dick move from the tech (and stupid that they didn’t know about the PDR).
Isn’t this a high school yearbook entry? His wife? He was married in high school?!
Reaching over the railing isn’t going to be popular though but maybe not a major issue.
