Okay Grandpa Elon, let’s get you to bed.
Okay Grandpa Elon, let’s get you to bed.
Not looking any further ahead than the car in front of you. A lack of full situational awareness in other words.
Still not as bad as the people who speed up when there’s a passing lane. You’ve been going 58 mph for the last 20 miles, but suddenly there’s an extra lane, so you speed up to 90 mph for a half mile, only to slow back down to 60.
There are many publicized things wrong with food delivery apps/services but one of the few that is rarely mentioned is that you are entrusting your food with a random person who has no ties to the restaurant or to you. No thanks.
A hands-free law went into effect in my state last year. I see 0% difference. I don’t know if it’s just hard to enforce or cops don’t want to enforce because they do it too.
I have no interest being next to a semi. Between the stuff they throw up, the fact that they’re prone to drifting lanes in high winds, their massive blind spots, and the weird fear I have that they’ll blow a tire when I’m stuck there, I want to spend as little time as possible next to them as I can.
Having just driven between VA and Florida mostly on 95 I can confirm that roughly 99% of drivers are only capable of only comprehending and reacting to the single vehicle directly in front of them which they are usually following too closely.
Add to that people who slow down to pass. Why the fuck would you fly up on me going 15mph faster, just to camp in my blind-spot for 5 minutes, and then rush off going 90 again? Or when people fucking slow down to pass semi trucks. I understand that it’s a bit scary, especially when you are getting water spray from…
It's like alcohol, in miniature equipment form!
Even if I lived in a high rise apartment I would get one.
There is no problem I cannot solve/create if I had one of these.
“Gleefully ugly” is a great description of that year Polara. I’ve long thought that was one of the ugliest cars ever mass produced. They do look appropriately terrifying in Super Stock form with the hood scoops and drag slicks, you would not want to mess with the driver of a car that ugly. The second-hood effect…
I... kinda like it! Looks well executed.
DVP N to 401 E?
There was a spoof letter to the PD of some town printed in a car magazine 20 years ago where the author thanked the PD for setting up the timing trap on the main street so that they could practice runs over 100mph to calibrate their spedometer. Author added a PS that it probably wasn’t very smart of the PD to position…
That’s funny, and I may or may not have tried this when they put one up on a street near me when I was a kid. When I saw it I immediately wondered what the 2 digit display did when you passed it in triple digits, I turned my motorcycle around immediately to take another run at it to find out. Wasn’t as exciting as I…
I want to know how they got 3 people in a 2021 Corvette.
Or Alcohol. Or Drugs. Or Stupidity, alcohol, and drugs.
I watched the clip multiple times, and unless im missing something, no matter how you look at it, this dude absolutely let go of the baby which is currently beginning to fall to catch the ball. I repeat, let go of his baby, instead of his beer, to catch a ball
I kid you not, those stickers are all for show and for locations to make it seem for corporate as if “The cars are cleaned and sealed until customers break the seal”. I rented with Hertz at the beginning of the year. Me and the associate there did the walk around inspection to check for damage. The guy literally took…
