I see custom potential in this. I know it’s sacrilege around these parts but repaint it something other than brown, maybe strip the vinyl, bigger and newer wheels, lower it slightly. It’s a little expensive as a starting point to get too deep into the interior and motor but I kind of unexpectedly like this land yacht.

Not just Chicago. Traffic in my city, particularly during afternoon rush hour, is pure chaos and mayhem. Walking home from work on any given day I’m almost hit by a car at least once. Most times more. Your head has to be on a swivel at all times and if you think the sidewalks is safe, LOL. Two days ago it was actually

“Designed in Auburn Hills” and “Assembled in Brampton.”

Selectable drive modes. Seems like they’re kind of taken for granted, no one really talks about the feature but damn if my whole car doesn’t change its driving characteristics, right down to the exhaust note, when I change from regular to sport mode. And then there’s track mode...seriously I despise any move to a

Exactly. In 2008 it was reckless investment banks that had overleveraged themselves through pure greed to a magnitude that they would have collapsed the financial system, via the insolvency of their insurers, so they all got bailed out. Today’s crisis is a result of too many overextended households getting caught up

I’m not exactly closed-minded to meat alternatives but the photos here make me think of canned tuna or maybe even a small piece of wood. They certainly don’t look like a filet. And honestly, not really appetizing.

“...the teacher makes “a big pot of something” like quinoa, oatmeal..”

The main problem is threefold, pay, pay and pay. Otherwise a good portion of the employee shortage comes down to terrible customers but they’ve been the bane of restaurants and servers since, well, since forever. It’s not just a pandemic thing. I mean in my own business, far removed from restaurants, I’ve often said

Ostensibly a Nice Price but I’m more interested in the Maserati, even if it’s not a Bora.

Now that it’s “famous”, digitize it and sell it as an NFT. Make millions. Buy Bugatti.

There are still a couple locations in my region that have indoor Playplaces today. Can’t remember the last time I’ve seen an outdoor one though.

I’m old enough to have been around through all the evolutions of McDonald’s and its play areas. But what intrigued me were the locations with the N64 stations in them. I mean, great draw but who thought that would go smoothly? Just greasy, ketchupy little hands all over the controllers and near-fights any time one of

Since trying Cavendish Farms Restaurant Style Extra Thin with Cracked Pepper or their Drive-Thru fries, I haven’t bought any other kind. They really are the absolute best I’ve ever had. And even better in an air fryer. Not sure how easy they are to find in the US but damn, can’t recommend them any more.

Thank you for the clarity. Those jets are way too close to one another to be lined up or taxiing for anything.

Turkish built, not Dutch, German or Italian so it’s already depreciating. Also, one of AVA’s Kando class yachts so even with some customizations, it’s still a “series yacht” so, bleh. Plus it looks like a wedding cake.

Would I take them up on the offer? Not for that much, absolutely no. Maybe for a free car but even then, I would have a lawyer go over the NDA with a fine tooth comb and I suspect that GM wouldn’t agree to that or any potential modification to the NDA that I would inevitably end up proposing before signing.

Oh god no. Can’t even inflate the driver front tire properly for pictures? How shitty was the rest of the maintenance? Aside from that, this thing was a nonsense car when it was built. I wouldn’t even want to drive this thing ironically.

Yeah, I’ve seen licensed cabs in my city take Uber fairs on the side. No idea if it’s “legal” or not. Not like Uber plays by any rules to begin with.

Neutral adjacent: I appreciate the Uber or Lyft signs being prominently displayed on the ride share cars in my city because I know as a pedestrian, whenever I see one I can expect the most dangerous and moronic driving skills imaginable. You think sidewalks are safe? LOL.

Well shit. I don’t actually want an SUV and based on my current circumstances an EV still isn’t genuinely practical but fuck me if I don’t actually like this thing inside and out. Did I just cross a space time continuum?
