The lengths to which employers will go to try to attract workers instead of just, you know, paying more...mind boggling.

I try to avoid any discussion of Musk, or the stock market, but from the time Twitter announced that Elon would join Twitter’s board (April 5) to right now, Tesla’s shares have dropped from $1,091 to $660 which equates to a $75billion decline in Musk’s (on paper) net worth. Don’t care who you are or how much you have

“We think the market will sell about the same number of new vehicles regardless of the exact path of rates — assuming it does not get worse than what the Fed is projecting,”

On Bring-A-Trailer they routinely sell for about 10-16k.”

Who exactly is the target audience for this?

Even if this included 507 literal horses pulling this like the Budweiser wagon, I’m not paying that much.

I once put a kitchen knife straight through my hand so that the tip was coming out the back between my knuckles. Then I slipped and hit my head and knocked myself out. Long story and quite a ride really.

Looking at the model there doesn’t seem to be a way for the pilot/operator and the small crew to enter or exit the cockpit area. I assume they’ll just be built into it and when they eventually die, the rich will just keep building replacement submarines?

Just making fun of unnecessary specifics in the recall notice.

The potentially affected vehicle production period began on September 21, 2021...and ended on April 12, 2022"

Wealthy celebrities: “Saving the planet does not come cheap! There will be a price to pay but it’s worth it for a better future for us all!!!”

Look, I appreciate humor and generally that’s my go-to point of view here too but in all seriousness, Toronto and the surrounding GTA is seeing a serious increase in gun crimes and violence with almost all the recovered firearms being traced back to having been smuggled across the border from the US. So as someone

So, looking into this vehicle I also discovered the Mega Monte Carlo and holy shit, down the rabbit hole we go....

The Chrysler Laser. Anyone remember them, much less see one since the 80's? And to think this model was supposed to be the upscale version of the Dodge Daytona from back then, which itself was an abomination for carrying that nameplate. I remember seeing them in real time and they somehow made a 70's era Chevette look

For nearly 4 mill, that’s the view I get from the driver’s seat??! And a column shift too?? I’d sooner switch places with Payne Stewart.

My son had a TTR225 many years back. Great starter bike. Could even be his. If it has a blue front rim, take my word and just sell it to another “rural teen”.

As per #4, I like to start arguments over regular wings versus boneless wings. To me, boneless is to wings as Velcro is to running shoes. Boneless wings are for children.

Nice. Testament to its design. I mean I love them and think they’re gorgeous but I wondered if it was a little understated for the masses. And in acknowledging you calling it an “old person’s car”, my grown son makes fun of me for liking it. And I am old. But I tell him to fuck off because, damn, it’s gorgeous.

That’s just it, I love the car too and I know one when I see one. But I’m curious if you just drive around in your own world with very few other people knowing what the car is or if it’s an attention-getter. Everyone knows a Ferrari is a special car when they see one. Hell, most people probably even see a Challenger

How’s its street presence? I mean any Jalop that sees it on the road probably knows what they’re looking at but for everyone else when you’re out and about, is it stealthy? Is it just another Lexus in traffic? Can you leave it in a parking lot and reasonably believe people will respect it and not roll their shopping
