Man, I don’t know what I expected in one of these but that gas pedal versus brake pedal placement would take some getting used to. Beyond that I’ll say NP for the right buyer.

I’d say this is why we can’t have nice things anymore but fuck, it’s not even nice things now.
Are most people aware of google.com/flights? I rarely see it mentioned in travel posts but maybe everyone already knows? Anyway, it’s the simplest way to compare airfares, match the cheapest departure and arrival dates (if you’re flexible) and book all in one place. It’s been my go-to almost exclusively for years now.
Keep simple reference notes, either on paper, your phone or where ever. Particularly anything that came out really well, in just one line I write down what I cooked, how long, what temperature and whether I flipped it at any point. Done. And now I can repeat my best meals easily.
Thanks, I hate it.
On Dairy Queen’s website: What happened to Dennis the Menace?
If you love random electrical gremlins, super expensive parts, convoluted repair processes and generally looking at your car in the garage instead of driving it, this right here is your car.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if you’re enamoured with these things, more power to you but god damn are these three wheeled bathtubs ugly.
This is probably not the take a food and restaurant blog wants to hear but what the pandemic confirmed for me was that restaurants and dining out in general in my city is too expensive and it doesn’t deliver an experience that is worth the cost. So I will be continuing the pandemic trend that I’ve happily picked up…
I’m not here to debate the crop size of Florida’s orange harvest but a quick look at the futures chart for Frozen Concentrated Orange Juice shows a current price of $1.35 per pound compared to a 15 year median and average of $1.36.
Maybe I’m out to lunch here or maybe I’m just in an argumentative mood (why not both?) but that 1st gear piece read to me like it was written from a cognitive bias that says the only people who buy used cars are poor and/or dumb.
Not just you. I bought a used car because it’s a purely recreational vehicle for me and was/is seeing very little mileage accumulation. Made zero sense for me to pay new car price (this was mid-2020 so before any insane price spikes). I knew all about the used car I was buying and all of the features I was looking for…
I’m waiting for the next generation of robot that buys and eats the fries.
Legit read “predelivery service charge” in that image as “predatory service charge” and for a second thought, well at least they’re up front about it.
At least this time there was no mention of “Providences”. What do you want, accurate writing or something?
Agreed on both. I actually tuned in to one of the street race shows earlier this week (no idea which one) out of boredom and after a few minutes it became clear I was supposed to know the people on it and have some sort of connection to them, like a fan. Nothing to do with the cars, pure soap opera. And of course…
Wow, and you call me self-righteous. I don’t think you understand that word. People like you are why other people stop caring.
Look, all jokes aside, I really don’t care what people want to eat. Someone else’s dietary choices don’t impact me, eat what you want. By the same token, leave my choices out of your life too. Why do I eat meat? Because it tastes good to me and I like it. The end.
I’ve driven the autobahn quite a bit but as a visitor, not resident of Germany, so my highway experience is formed by North American driving.
In this case I suspect “push to start” is code for doesn’t run.
