You say that like it's a good thing. If they need to resort to cheap audience manipulation tactics like that to ensure we care about the character's storyline, then they might as well have killed him off at the end of last season.

Should anyone give a shit about this show anymore? The Avclub is hardly alone in that sentiment.

Seriously? What a dipshit.

To be fair, it was Smokey who wrote Ain't That Peculiar and not Gaye. In fact, unless the Gaye family magically own rights to a song Gaye never wrote, I doubt they can sue over this supposed similarity.

Brilliant? I don't know, his comedy seems to be stuck in the '90s. His references, sensibility, there's nothing that I haven't seen before. He's still funny, but I think brilliant may be a stretch.

What's wrong with pornography?

He's a die hard Republican who supports some pretty questionable politicians, from what I recall.

You also have to take into account the sources. Both Carlin and Groening have been known to be quite the curmudgeons themselves. Maybe they just weren't comfortable with somebody who was as forceful as they were.

I haven't seen a massive crucifix like that (althoughough I've seen rather large ones) but some Espiscopalian congregations use the crucifix while others do not. It really depends on how indebted their service is to Catholicism.

That match is kinda hard to watch. She was definitely working quite stiffly.

Apparently you can access the ondemand version using your rogers login. At least that's what I had heard a month ago or so.

Or being an asshole Is. Some people are just assholes, with or without any sort of lubricant.

I always assumed it was because Patrick Stewart was better than whatever French guy auditioned for the part.

Berman literally conceived Seven as a "borg babe". That was the only impetus behind the character. It was because of the writers and Ryan that she became anything more than that.

And Young Justice.

I believe they made it so if you had files downloaded from another service, then you couldn't play them on your synced apple device, or something along those lines.
