Considering Abe's strong and off putting social and political views, I'd wager I'd more inclined to agree with Miyazaki than to disagree. Unless of course he's chiding Abe for not being extreme enough, but I don't see how that is possible.

Yes because bitching about things being PC before it's even an issue is not hypocritical at all.

If you're only watching something for the plot chances are it's not worth your time.

And even he threw Bill under the bus, so obviously he's already shown to be corruptible.

Cody ain't that bad looking though.

The X-men was that show for me. I loved it as a kid, and although I can still admire it's ambition, it really is atrocious. The writing, the voice acting, the animation, it's almost unwatchable if you're not being blinded by nostalgia.

30 million, but they really promoted the hell out of this. I wouldn't be surprised if the P&A was around 30-40M. Once you take that into account along with the fact that the studio is taking in maybe 50% of the domestic box office, then ya, this movie really didn't do very well.

Because many films are expected to make some money in the box office, this one.. not so much.

Every woman's different.

I think some of the Cena involvement was to set up a swerve (or at least they used it as a swerve after the fact of his involvement). Triple H really wanted people to doubt Samoa Joe was coming in. Even when all signs pointed to yes, he did everything he could to throw water on that possibility. The fact that people

Owens tows the line between being a hateable heel and a cool heel better than anybody I've ever seen. He seems to pull people in by being really fucking cool one minute and then he just turns the tables with something really dastardly which gets the fans to just turn on him even more. He's so damn good.

It's complicated. Cornette thought Steen had it but was frustrated by him. Cornette was probably an asshole about the weight thing and Steen probably got his back up because of it but Cornette only cared about the weight thing because he saw big things in Steen. However, since Steen already had his back up about it he

They're doing similar things but that's down more to their influences than anything. Nothing to see here really.

You're making me side with doctor unknown, stop it.

Which Marvel would know nothing about…

I think it just amplified his fascistic and bigoted tendencies. It's not like he became a changed man, all the bullshit was already readily apparent, it was just a bit more nuanced than it was after 9/11.

But that's how marketing works. If a show is marketed poorly, then people will likely stay clear of it.

Because she's an attractive woman, we get it.

Kind of. She certainly wasn't a "name", nor did she have her own ad campaigns. She was more of a face. People knew her if they saw her, and she had already started to cultivate a screen persona, but I don't think many people outside of the type of people who frequent a site like this really "knew who she was".

I have a really hard time saying there is ever a wrong time to question people in power. Whether the questions are tabloid crap or not, it's just hard for me to get behind.
