Superman & Lois is really excellent, a high quality show in every way, effects, writing, acting. The kids can be annoying, not surprisingly, but it works in part because you realize their drama and stupidity annoys the adults too & you relate to them struggling to deal with it

Same.  I’m still not convinced he isn’t....

My head-canon is that Will Ferrell’s character here and in the live action portions of The Lego Movie are the same character.

I am going to miss Superman & Lois especially if it gets cancelled on a cliffhanger as part of the CW purge of their scripted shows

“They Still Keep Killing Suzie”

I do not have an overt driving desire to watch this movie but, thus far, it seems to be creating the gold standard for going all-in on an unblinking vision.

Robert Downey Jr. admitted as much about Iron Man, too. Basically, I saw him in an interview for one of the Iron Man sequels where he said something like, “Once the mask comes down, I’m on a plane back home to California.” When it’s just the full suit on screen, it’s either CGI or another actor in there, not Downey.

Just don’t tell the press especially the gossip writers. It would crush their views on scripted show to know multiple people are portraying the same character.  It would ruin their lifes.

I cannot tell you how much willpower it took to not squee at top volume at work when seeing Mariner and Boimler in the flesh.

Ignoring the absolute slander on Pike’s Peak, I think any awkwardness from the Lower Decks crossover episode is probably because of how difficult comedic timing can be - this is a primarily dramatic trailer stitching together clips for a primarily dramatic show, the little snippits of comedy aren’t going to work as

I can’t wait for the new season.

Emolga was just another in the long line of new electric rodent Pokemon that are introduced in each game. They’re not meant to replace Pikachu but they are each essentially that Pokedex’s take on Pikachu.

No, I don’t think so. From what I recall, the plan was to treat it as a “soft reboot” in that you would only see new Unova-region Pokemon until you beat the Elite Four. Once that happened, Pokemon from other regions appeared in the game. It seems unlikely that they were ever seriously planning on phasing out Pikachu.

I want to know what they were smoking if they thought Emolga was going to replace Pikachu.

Wasn’t Black/White supposed to be a hard reset on the Pokedex? Which I guess makes sense if they were planning to phase out Pikachu for the new Pikachu-clone (Emolga?).

This seems like a lot of weird exceptions to make pikachu not be included.

This is how Trump destroys the GOP. In a lot of places, you need to be Trumpy to win a primary but you can’t be Trumpy to win a general. Trumpy candidates even won things like the Republican primary for governor in Illinois then were demolished in the general. it cost them maybe a dozen competitive House seats and 4

They’ll probably get licensed to Tubi or some other streaming service like the content HBOMax removed. Because of the 20th Century Fox buyout, Disney seems to have a pretty good working relationship with Fox Corp once you look beyond the performative outrage of Fox News anchors and Tubi already licenses 20th Century

Better people have said better things about taxes than the man that created concentration camps in the USA

Hi, Disney.
