I thought I was the only one who noticed that. Though I don’t know if Fisk would like being referred to as the “Fat Man.”
The problem is that the sample size for Omicron is just too small to make any reliable assumptions yet, all they can do generalize the observations thus far. Ironically, it would be best to treat this “conservatvely”, i.e. taking an abundance of caution, but the “conservatives” in America (and, sadly, elsewhere) have…
Don’t they already have Julia Louis-Dreyfuss for that now? Granted, we don’t know quite wht side she’s on yet, as the character in the comics has been known to straddle the fence a bit.
What, no observation on how a big chunk of the story was practically lifted from 9 to 5?
I just want to know why, given the state of 32nd century medicine, they can’t fix Detmer’s eye.
It only took one episode with Ken following weeks of Mayim Bialik to make me feel like Ken should be the permanent host. Both Ken and the game moved much more smoothly than she did. Ken sounds more natural and is better at interacting with the contestants, while Bialik seemed very stiff reading from the cue cards and…
Agreed. The look on Teller’s face when he’s truly surprised is priceless.
Hell, just listen to Gilbert’s podcast or the documentary about him, titled Gilbert. In fact, Bobcat was a guest on Gilbert’s podcast once and they talked about a time where they’d gone to dinner together and all the patron were looking their way, expecting some kind of bizarre screaming shout-off but they were just…
A couple of years ago I took my daughter, who was 22 at the time, to see Bobcat and others perform at a fundraiser for Barry Crimmins’ widow. She’s never seen Bobcat before and he didn’t do “the voice” during the act. After the show was over and we’re driving home, I tell her look up some older Bobcat routines on…
It will be nice when we get to the point where nobody has to come out as gay because they didn’t have to be closeted or secretive in the first place. Until then, it takes a lot of guts.
Funny, I thought that accent sounded horrible. Perhaps it was just not being used to hearing it come from him, but it seemed so fake at first. Maybe he was intentionally exaggerating it just a bit for comedic effect?
Good theories, but somehow I doubt that season two will revolve around police corruption. I do think the lady detective is the one who texted them, possibly to help ensure her role in tipping the team remains a secret.
Exactly what I was thinking. I’d love to see how T’Lyn could affect the current friendship dynamic of the Lower Deckers. She’s a Vulcan who accepts hunches and intuition, but how would she function around someone who’s all hunches and intuition like Mariner? And when it comes to decision time. Boimler is almost more…
Don’t forget, the final episode of TNG had Riker swooping in to save the day as well. I guess that’s “his thing.” He’s the swooper.
Do that on live TV, in a suit, while reporting a story, and with the non-chalance that makes it seem like that’s how he does his job every day. Maybe it’s not “shredding,” but it deserves an equally apt, if not more impressive description.
I think Lucille was worse. While both did question things in their business lives, Mallory at least cared for and loved her son, though she was horrible at expressing it. Lucille used her kids as noting but accessories and pretty much forgot they existing for long stretches of time.
I need to separate Jessica Walter, the great actor, from Mallory Archer, the truly horrible person.
That’s all because Trump had actual power and Rudy had none.
They’re not going to let Discovery and Picard hoard all the inclusion.
