Yes it’s beating a dead horse. But sometimes that horse can never de dead enough, so we keep beating away.

    Ask you doctor about Flo-Max.

The best summary of the progress the LGBTQIA+ community has made is that so many people saw the headline “Elvira Comes Out” and for the most part, the reaction is basically “So?”

I get the feeling she’ll show up either as a host on her own or in a cameo when Sudeikis hosts. She does seem like the type who they like to bring in when they’re hot, like Rege-John Page.

    1. Bring back Anya Taylor-Joy. She qualifies for the “revelation” category.
    2. Kumail Nanjiani should come back to promote The Eternals. Somehow I don’t think Angelina Jolie will do it.
    3. Agree with Jean Smart.
    4. Hannah Einbinder would be a fun legacy choice.
    5. Conan O’Brien’s got some time on his hands, and Stephen

I liked the storylines, but I agree with the review that show is better when they really lean into the wacky. That was hard to do what was mostly a downer of a story. Still a good story, but one that didn’t mesh well with DP’s established brand of wacky.

One thing against Burton is his age. He may be exuberant and chipper, but he’s 68. The corporate perspective is that Jeopardy will run forever, and they want whoever they pick as a replacement to hold the job for as long as Trebek did, mostly so they don’t have to go through this succession job again, but also to

Most people who watch Jeopardy can barely remember a time from before they watched Jeopardy. I’ve been watching the Trebek incarnation since it debuted when I was in high school and would watch with my mother. I even have recollections of the Art Fleming version that I used to watch with her when I was between five

I don’t understand the problem here. The episodes of The Queen’s Gambit shown on Netflix clearly took place in one of the universes within the entire Queen’s Gambit multiverse, a universe in which Gaprindashvili never did play against men.

Only twice. In the Marvel Universe, that makes him a slacker.

My wife will confirm that we saw that episode of Late Night as it aired and before Norm could deliver his line I said “They spelled it B-O-R-E-D.” But that was the only time I could guess what Norm was going to say.

I would think Quarks became a success when he stopped with all the side scams and he actually focused 100% on running the bar. Kind of like the lesson the other Ferengi learned bout how sometimes going straight can be more profitable.

I’m guessing you don’t have kids...

I saw this earlier and sent it to my now 24 year old daughter, who I think managed to watch Blue’s Clues 28 hours a day, 9 days a week for two solid years. She said she watched it right before she had to go into a meeting and it left her too emotional to do anything for five minutes. And now she hates me forever.

Not always true. They often record temp tracks to be used to help the animators, then re-record again later while trying to match it to the animation.

Died of COVID because she didn’t get immunized like the rest of the family.

After seeing the scientist and before he ever said a word, it was immediately clear the voice was going to be Eric Andre. So when I saw the hostage negotiator, I thought it was going to be Bill Hader. It certainly looked like him, and I wouldn’t surprised if he was supposed to do it but it fell through somehow and they

I wish the producers were more prepared for his passing which they had to assume was imminent.

Exactly. Jennings might not be the most dynamic person, but he is witty, he did just fine during his stint, and he would bring a sense of continuity to the transition instead of an abrupt change. Plus, considering he was the first to host after Trebek’s passing, I think he intentionally kept his personality in check

I thought that was the GOP motto.
