I don’t know, I’ve done over 200k miles in Tesla EVs. Heck, I just got back yesterday from a 600 mile trip to Vegas. I charged a total of 15 mins each direction just to be safe.

I got around slower traffic in ways not possible with an ICE vehicle as I have a Plaid X. 80 to 120+ instantly

I’m guessing she didn’t even try the Electrify America network because a completely normal trip with a few extra stops doesn’t make for big clicks :)

Looking at the Electrify America map, it appears that for the first ~400 miles of her journey, there is a gap in Electrify America coverage. But once she got past that first 400 miles, it should have been straightforward to hop from EA charger to EA charger.

The article was complete bunk. It’s as if the author intended to make the trip take forever. They didn’t use abetterrouteplanner or, from what I gather, even the car’s own Nav to plot their course. No one in an EV stops at dealerships to charge up.

Reminder for everyone that WSJ opinions pages are Fox News in print. They are propaganda made up to serve Rupert Murdoch’s agenda.

Dear ‘Murricans on Jalopnik - please stop being stupid. Can You? Please?

I was playing this shit before your 10 year old was alive, so frankly Pat, I don’t give a damn.

that was an M3, not a mustang.... or are you speaking about american top gear?

I’m looking at my keyboard... scanning the top... *flips it over, crumbs fall out*...

Fun fact,
