I know it’s not the correct response, but I wish Jalopnik itself would dial back the activism. This site is best when it’s a nice respite from reality, where we share in the love of cars and motorsports. Too often now it’s being dragged into the same hyper-political climate of mocking and finger wagging.

The hate for “Porsche Guys” is definitely overblown, but remove your aversions and you’ll see them for what they are...some of the best cars of their generations.

Great, now walking to my next meeting is going to be exceedingly akward.

But honestly, thanks. If I was shopping for a car in the $140k-ish range, this would be the hardest choice I’d have to make. The GTS would probably win out only because I’d want the back seats to take the kids with once in a while. Don’t laugh, I

just wow

Nah, Porsche is generally pretty chill about reviews. And as much as they care about records, they aren’t going to cheat them. Aside from the 919, they wouldn’t throw their own money into developing a single monster record setting cheat car. When they make a ton of improvements to a car, they make sure they are release

When I sold cars (early 2000s at a used superstore) I was shocked at the number of people who just came in, no prior research, no “shortlist,” and just bought something from our lot the same day. In 1-2 hours, about 80% of my clients were signed/sealed/delivered and that was it. The process actually left me in shock

Everyone must buy a Camry. You can have it any color you want as long as it’s beige

Also you got the full LED headlamps...Thank god...they look so much better than the standard single-lens.

i dig the retro rocker stripes

Dejected sigh...

Enthusiast market, saturated?  With which??  Demand or supply?  I only see too much demand, and not enough supply.  Otherwise, I would’ve picked up a 964 or some form of GT3 by now.

That's mostly stuff for moving coolant around. There's a lot of space up front without an engine so it's a good place to stuff all of the cooling pieces.

Erik is a fool that should be banned from writing; and yet his claiming a 35k Miata is too much money is about the most sensible thing he has written thus far. It is still a moronic thing to say as you can get one for 25k if you don’t want the luxury junk. My 2016 was 27k new with upgraded suspension and an LSD, which

I’m sure they will be available as a $10,000 option any moment...

Thanks that made my day!

Chuck Norris wishes he was Chuck Yeager.

If you live in NJ you’ll have an 18-year old HS dropout pulling the hose over the hood and topping it off so the fuel spills all over. Problem solved!

Company materials indicate the entire system weighs 135 pounds. The writer seems to have aggressively rounded up when describing the weight.

For the Americans who think that’s a weird comment...

I hear ya, but where are you going to get 200lb out of a Cayman without stripping the interior? The simple stuff like ultra light wheels, exhaust, and seats might get you, what 75 lbs? Where are you going to from there? Custom carbon fiber panels? Any improvement are going to cost more than the flywheel package.
