It’s not weird, in most other countries, to live with family until you get married. But somehow, here, it’s a sign that one is a pathetic loser?

Said it before and will say it again... anyone who believes everything they read on the internet is a moron. Bots were effective because there are a lot of morons.
Those Russian bots you’ve heard so much about were extremely effective
Well, clearly they weren't going to let the trains move with people glued to them, but if they did, I can see their skin maybe staying glued to the train, the rest of their bodies, not so much.
The first time I saw sinks like that was in the club Teatriz in Madrid in the late 1980s. At the time I thought they were avant garde and stylish, but would be impractical for a home. (Now they are less avant but still equally impractical)
Trump talking about himself in the third person makes me furious. You’d think someone as fat as Trump is would be physically incapable of repeatedly kissing his own ass, but here we are
As long as those IR Scammers stop calling me in the middle of the night, it’s all good.
Every metric, from media coverage and advertisers, to income levels of participants and supporters, down to even the background of who becomes pro players supports your point, but they’ll tell you you’re wrong because of the existence of municipal and public courses. Using that logic swimming is a poor people’s sport…
Yeah well...
Stratolaunch is a competitor to Falcon Heavy in the same way that a Fiat 500 is a competitor to a Freightliner FL86. They are both technically automobiles that can carry some amount of cargo, but nobody thinking of buying one is even considering the other as an alternative.
Totally agree. It depends on if you are looking at individual episodes or the flow of the story as a series. They keep getting better at making individual episodes. But they certainly have lost a step when it comes to making a great series.
I’m one of those people, and I don’t feel like it’s a kick in the dick at all (or in the vag for me, as it were). The show, on the whole, IS bad now, insofar as plotting goes. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t capable of brilliant episodes or character moments. The first 20 minutes of “Winds of Winter” is the best thing…
I don’t care too much either way, but it’s very much possible to make excellent episodes of tv, while simultaneously kind of losing your way as a series (also, they killed all the good actors).
I called the cops on Deadspin when they banned me way back when, and the police just told me that I was actually in a Wendy’s so I got a baconator and everything was fine.
I get it, man. Waiting on lab results is a harrowing experience.
Because the petty drama of it all is a welcome momentary distraction from the awfulness that is our collective daily reality.
Soon-Yi Allen is 47 years old, and she’s been married to Woody for twenty years and they have two kids. I’m always struck by how condescending the criticisms of their relationship come across, like everyone else in the world knows better than she does whether or not it was/is a “healthy” relationship. There’s a whiff…
Allen is definitely a creep, but this article can’t even justify itself. Twice the author writes that the age of the female character is unclear, that she is possibly 21, but then unequivocally states “Allen is currently filming a movie in which a middle-aged man has a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.” The…
I am sorry, but I sideload apps all the time that aren't pirated. There are a lot of apps that work on my rooted Kindle Fire just fine, but Play wont let me download it directly. So I use a method to download it to my system from Play, and sideload it.
Maybe in case if you have an Android phone that doesn't support gapps (Google Apps, i.e. Market/Play Store)? No Wifi, but have a computer with ethernet cable connection? Angry Birds don't support your device/screen and thus won't let you install through market, but you know it would work? There could be zillion cases…
