I don't know why I'm always surprised that Daniel "You hit like a girl" Bryan is such a bro. His stupid aside on Talking Smack about how women are chatterboxes is just about as clever as James Ellsworth's "big hog".

It seems like Indian restaurants are most common in urban areas, and even then it can vary wildly. At the very least, their spread has been slower than Chinese restaurants. Definitely not like the UK. There are a lot more Indians and more Indian restaurants than before, so I'm sure it will change.

poor commenting. no real thought.

Not just the Doctor Who theme, but The Timelords' (KLF) "Doctorin' The Tardis". I don't know how people in stadiums around the world aren't chanting along to this song all the time. Actually, since "Rock and Roll Part 2" is song non grata, "Doctorin' the Tardis" should replace that at all sporting events.

Same here. I was probably 12 when that episode came on. I loved the moment because it sounded weird. It took a little while to get it and a few repeats to realize how it connects to the scene right before it (looking around the internet, it seems like there's a 50/50 split on whether people take that into account).

AH! I was totally going to post this! One of my favorite Simpsons moments.

I didn't get onboard with HH until very recently. A big help was their (now re-animated) shill man, Earwolfman Jack: https://youtu.be/P9vgirDk6Y…

I commented that Eliza Skinner is a "damn delight" on Earwolf's Facebook post for this very episode of Never Not Funny. What a weird, low-level coincidence. Or maybe not. She might be an actual, proper, Damn Delight. I'd believe it. She is effortlessly funny.

I feel that out of all the albums mentioned, the Circle Jerks album was the one I saw the most in used record store bins. Always cutouts.

The HELL "No Reply" is a skip… Although I have to say that in my personal process of Beatles discovery, I came onto "No Reply" late because it doesn't get talked about as much and the early albums are less regarded. Thus, I did indeed skip it and the song ended up hitting me harder by the time I heard it on a random

All You Need Is Love: I suffer from the inability to hear the "love, love, love" refrain as anything other than "blah blah, blah".

Fuck.

Ah, yes. Ian Karmel… moved from Portland to L.A.

It's usually introduced as "Arnie Pye with Arnie in the Sky". Because, as the Col. says below, of the need to blow any clever wordplay.

Wilfred (US), s01 e08 "Anger". [spoiler - if you haven't seen the series, it's definitely worth a watch] After the usual inappropriate laughter throughout the episode, the last scene where Wilfred unexpectedly helps Ryan see Sneakers again had the tears just rolling uncontrollably. It was a twist I genuinely did not

If Matt Cooke tapped Marc Savard in the nuts with his stick instead of concussing his brain with a blindside hit then, yeah, Marc Savard probably could have continued playing.

What Lucic did wasn't right (you could even say it was a dick move), but considering the other spearings that happened around the same time from folks like Mike Richards, Corey Perry, Ryan Garbutt, Paul Stastny, and Scott Hartnell, your focus just sounds partisan in the midst of the playoffs. Also, Lucic is not MATT

This sounds like the complaints I hear from wrong people about how they don't like Aukerman. I think the ads are supposed to be stilted and awkward. As well as slaphappily aggressive. They're the ads I am least likely to skip past. Though when it gets to the 4th ad, I start to lose patience. STORE DOT EARWOLF DOT

Yeah, it seems like folks gave up towards the beginning. This episode veered in great weird directions. Sanz always comes through. Really though, the name "Vape Cod" was enough for me.
