Or could be he wanted to sell it for perfectly ordinary reasons, but knew he wouldn’t get much for it with a bad transmission.
This was for sale on a local FB group for less than half this price with a bad transmission, so I’m thinking it’s a quick flip.
You’re not paying 250k for anything, and neither am I....but not because it’s a Honda.
See, for that car, I would build it a bride.
This. Sometimes we forget that there were cities before the car, most notably the major ones.
You can’t have it both ways. You can’t say that cars are only going to be rich person’s toys in a story about how the price of used car prices are collapsing because of oversupply.
Well, to be fair, the 6.0 probably only destroyed some mud huts because it didn’t happen in NYC.
Except for that last one (thanks, Texas climate!!), that exact thing has happened to me. Line for line.
Welp, I’ll be driving home from the bars drunk I guess. Since there are no all-electric environmentally-sensitive unionized 51% woman organically grown non-profit no animal testing car ride companies to choose from, and taxis in my city are next to impossible to get at 2 am, I must drive after my eight martini happy…
Yeah, I guess my approach on the subject is that when you buy a car, it’s depreciation is a given, so that’s not something I would give a whole lot of consideration to - you pay the same amount either way...
I could be off, but I think people get hung up on the length of payments, when all that matters is the interest rate. If you can swing a 75 month payment plan with 0 or 1% interest, then no problem.
You can’t count the number of times someone’s asked you for a cheap car and ended up with something expensive because they “needed” room and wanted a sunroof, yet you know there’s never more than one person in it, never any cargo, and 99% of the time the sunroof is closed?
As the owner of this mess I can tell you that it most certainly is stuck in that picture. Haha.
I care about my car, too, which is why I take it through the automatic car wash when it’s freezing and the roads have been salted. Come spring, I clay and wax it and it looks good as new. Plus, I don’t come off as a precious narcissist this way.
In winter, when my hoses will freeze, my buckets will freeze, my power washer will freeze, and my butt will freeze, I will use a car wash to keep my car clean. Stating that I don’t care about my car because I use a car wash is a hideously stupid conclusion to draw.
I went out in the garage and made this on my potato just for you.
Why would you think that an MG is going to run on the weekends? It won’t.
