its really common

most people don’t even wear seatbelts in their uber, that would probably be the first company policy to tackle before worrying about some freak recall accident. 

last time I was in a cab, it was an old crown vic, the brakes were grinding and it sounded like the shocks were bottoming out.

so many open recalls don’t even have an available fix. its going to be more complicated than just looking to see what vehicles have open recalls. My wife’s old car had an open recall for over a year before we sold it. there was still no fix available at the time of sale.

literally what i was about to say. you run this thing for 1 year and its worth it, assuming you don’t have to put brakes and tires on it. my luck, I would drive it for one great year, do brakes and tires all around and it would immediately suffer a catastrophic failure.

several factors that sales should push more that is fantastic about electric cars:
1. hate waiting for the car to warm up before you get heat? you get heat in seconds. AC works faster too

depends on how many miles you drive, and if gas gets more expensive. if you drive a ton of miles, it makes more sense. for the time being, the leaf still qualifies for the full $7500 tax credit also.

tesla recently started selling a fast charging CHAdeMO adapter for all their cars. To me that could signify a shift. in the US, CHAdeMO is the most common fast charger that isn’t the tesla supercharger (correct me if i’m wrong)
