apparently you’ve never met the guy that typically owns a 2005 infiniti G35

They designed a system to work at or below a certain speed, and it was being tested above that speed. There’s always going to be some cutoff where a system like this will cease to function as designed.

You part it overseas

they aren’t saying that. consumer reports was likely using a GPS or radar device to precisely measure speed at 37mph which would likely give an in cabin reading of 38-40 mph

i love it though. maybe it has some kind of scotchguard type treatment

my thoughts exactly. i’d love for someone to do it in a model 3 just for the lols and data points. but i’m definitely not that person. In my quest to own one of every car ever made, I don’t have time to drive one car 1 million miles.

this was a better response than mine, thank you

ok

sounds like a bunch of bull sheet to me

i’ll take list of things that never happened for 500.

if everyone read consumer reports and followed their advice on car purchasing, we would all be driving beige toyota camrys. if you want entertainment, read their review on the latest jeep wrangler, it has horrible scores because its unsafe, has bad ride quality, road noise, and scores below average in reliability.

let me answer this for you: yes

yea but vauxhall is actually lower quality

thats not how supply chains work.

you misspelled dodge

isn’t that more of a reflection of how hard you accelerate and how little regen you use?

its difficult to parse all of this because you seem to only attack tesla and not all EVs which is confusing, for some reason view the world in a hybrid ok EV not ok (when the truth is everything would be better if we all drove a combination of hybrids and Evs) and intersperse some facts with statements I’ve never

neither one of those sources have anything to do with Tesla or EVs. Carbon emissions rising due to economic expansion and in the transport sector, the increase was due to trucking and planes.

I’m not sure i can explain it but that doesn’t seem like precisely the same thing

Go get mad at the Hyundai kona or the Nissan Leaf or something
