that is the question i am posing to the person in this article. its fairly absurd.

My old BMW sucks, so I don’t want a car made by VAG even though I literally just described a newish golf wagon. Ok

i think the answer to why depends on where you drive and where you park.

I love midsized trucks, but if you want to put rear facing baby seats and rack a lot of highway miles, its pretty uncomfortable compared to a sedan. both my cars are midsized sedans for this reason. i’d love a 4x4 tacoma as a third vehicle but its literally only a want with no actually justification.

normally they would just tell you it was already sold

for sure, truecar is a great tool for that. this article is more of a commentary on how strange car pricing is in general in the modern marketplace

I WANT A REAAAAL KEYBOARD UGGHHHHHHH

Rowing your own gears on a gearless machine is a bad concept, and you should feel bad.

firstly, i’m not attacking anyone. but its important to understand what Electrek is when it starts commenting about stuff. its not even disputed.

pretty sure electrek is a Tesla shill so not the best source for unbiased electric car reporting. not denying that the shutdown occurred, just something to think about.

ok

Good luck finding a land cruiser on the lot anywhere vs plenty of the Lexus. That’s definitely part of it

Which of course begs the question why did they give Tesla such a huge jump?

I’m obviously not a professional car seller/buyer, but it seems like 4wd on pickup trucks is nearly a wash on the increase purchase price vs. resale after 3-4 years. As in, its costs 3-4k up front, but it seems like you can sell them for nearly 3k more at the end.

try driving a panel van or any contractor vehicle, similar thing. people definitely treat you differently on the road.

Now that is a jaunty snow-hat

I will star any comment that uses the words Sopwith, Camel, and DOT in the same sentence.

Crazy how bloggers making 20k a year in NYC might not be huge Republican Party supporters

Wouldn’t a new Tacoma be perfect?

Or, the average persons spatial reasoning is comically inadequate
