On these fancier cars a aftermarket unit would likely not turn off the “headlight out” warning light which presents another aftermarket challenge. I’m sure most wouldn’t care if they saved $1500 but it’s a factor for sure.

sure, but I believe for every example like that, I could find countless counter examples that have disappeared into the ether. The ones that survive the test of time are far and few between.
NP or CP nonwithstanding, Leno saying comedy is timeless is a complete falsehood. Comedy is some of the most time sensitive art there is. It often references current events to which the context is lost over time, sometimes very quickly. And peoples taste radically change as well, things that are risque become complete…
OH REALLY THEN WHY WERE YOU IN THE LEFT LANE??? sorry this is why we can’t have nice things. No lane discipline.
take that crosscabriolet rock crawling and sand dune-ing and get back with me. actually make a youtube video of it, will probably be a hit.
If you don’t understand things like addiction and enabling, you should probably not be so quick to judge
It settles quick and high for several reasons:
its not just snobbery, have you tried to lease a lincoln continental and compared it to a similar priced BMW? the residual is comparatively much lower on lincoln you can get way more car with BMW (or Audi, whatever) at a lower price per month. And that turns it from an interesting shopping comparison to a no brainer
This proves there’s truly a hand for every glove.
OP is someone that reads a spec sheet and thinks that all there is to building something. Better specs = better car. Real engineering is all in the intangibles and beautifully designed and engineered items frequently don’t have the flashiest apec sheet.
3% of steel in the US comes from China. That is a major misnomer. Chinese overproduction of steel has depressed world steel prices, however.
welcome to the internet
I just got a new Jetta with adaptive cruise control and just a little bit of ice buildup on the nose of the car rendered the system broken and useless. So this is going to be a huge problem. It took warm weather to thaw it.
Dyson Vacuums? Not a Fan. They Suck.
Counterpoint: orange is an obnoxious car color unless you want to look like a pumpkin
“I have this old ford V8 but I’m not going to buy anything that this motor would easily fit in.” Also cheap reliable fast is a car that doesn’t exist. The golden rule of automobiles is you only get to pick 2 of those parameters
These buying parameters are a true fools errand
I think they key is “street legal” 300mph plus tires. Dragster tires have to get to a very hot temperature to grip properly and are probably single use. The tires in question have to perform cold and on the street and also be able to get to ridiculous speeds. And I believe the tire stress isn’t linear, it’s…
A silver 2011 Malibu. Bought it because it was dirt cheap. Actually a solid car from a transportation perspective. It’s so boring I don’t even have a picture of it. People kept hitting it in parking lots because it’s so boring it’s invisible.
Hot air on the eyes is murder on my contact lenses and dries out my skin like crazy.
