My dude, 6-10 hours a week is a second job for lots of folks. I know the number seems low for those with time to play, but it’s a pretty talk task for casual players. Second job =! 30+ hours per week.

Sad for the fans who want it to keep going, but I’m super stoked to finally be able to read it. I’ve been waiting for it to conclude to juts plow through the entire thing.

Good stuff, Kirk. I really enjoy reading about other people’s build experiences, especially if they’re new to the hobby.

I’m not a fan of your intake to exhaust fan ratio though, as it seems it would generate negative air pressure (relative to the room). This forces air to creep in through your case’s various nooks

I tried the same recently. Actually, I went through 4 different laptops before giving up and going back to a MBP: XPS 13, Surface Laptop, Huawei Matebook X Pro, LG Gram.

The trackpads were all okay, but they just paled in comparison to the MBP’s. I gave each device a solid 2 weeks, but I kept having to return them

Ok, but their logo is still ugly as sin, especially when it’s so prominent and gaudy.

Do people who buy into these aesthetics actually exist? Why is “gamer gear” so UGLY? JESUS.

The last android phone I used as my daily driver before switching to iOS was the Note 4. I LOVED that thing. The only reason I switched was because my job at the time was heavily focused on mobile apps running exclusively on iOS.

I’ve always wanted to go back but haven’t really found the right time. Last year’s Note 8

Man, AR Yu-Gi-Oh sounds incredibly fun. I haven’t played in 10 years but will gladly jump in once this tech is GA.

I love these cosplay features, Kotaku. Keep them coming!

Thanks. Needed that laugh.

It was also huge in Mexico. I remember getting all kinds of “Super Campeones” (its Spanish name) merchandise in chips, cereal, and all manner of other common food items.

We also had these kickass collectible albums that were sold at pharmacies and other convenience stores. You’d buy card packs that contained various

The Xbox One X 4k mode definitely runs native resolution, but it’s locked to 30fps. Performance mode unlocked the frame rate and has variable resolutions, but it doesn’t hold a consistent 60fps (especially in dense areas like Novigrad). I personally couldn’t get over the FPS swings in performance mode, so play in 4k

If I recall correctly, they said something about 4v4 being more competitive-focused and that limiting the amount of players meant more methodical, tactical matches.

Not all of us use our PCs/game in dark, grimy troll caves, you now...

I’ve personally given up on JRPGs :(

It’s still my favorite genre by far, but I simply don’t have the time to play through them. It typically goes like this: start a new game, invest 20 hours, get distracted by life (travel for business for example), forget what the hell I was doing in the game, pick it back up and

I’m one of those that lost interest in Nintendo with the Wii and WiiU. I suppose I was interested in very different kinds of gaming experiences at the time. I got my fill of weird games with the DS/3DS, so I wanted my home consoles for more robust and cinematic types of games (Uncharted, LoU, FF, Gears of War,

Marques Brownlee has a review video in which he shows FaceID not working if he has his eyes closed or his attention is not focused on the device.

Totally caught me by surprise. Spent the entire trailer trying to figure out what game it was.

What a ride. How do you feel about luxury cars?

Pro tip: record your fingerprint twice and use a different angle when setting it up. Do that for each of your thumbs. My touchID NEVER fails.

I find it easier to use the browser on my XBOX. Also means I don’t have to worry about private browsing or clearing browsing history. Since I use my phone for work, keeping the mature content locked on the XBOX is perfect.
