I’m sure I’m going to flip-flop a LOT about Cap 3 in the next 9 months or so, but if my babies are all together, then that’s all I care about.

Not Dormammu, but I still love this scene.

I kind of wish they'd just cast her as Strange.

Man Ant-Man is going to be like the Freshmen hanging out with all the Seniors at Lunch.

Maui was always portrayed as a younger brother who turns out to have significant importance. He wasn’t a hero so much as a pioneer. But I only know two stories about him - how he fished out New Zealand from the waters with his grandmother’s jawbone for a hook, and how he slowed the sun down with a net.

Being from a Pacific Island nation myself (sort of - I’m Maori), I’m really looking forward to Moana. It seems to be taking aspects of many different South Pacific nations’ myths, which in truth share a similar origin anyway, and turning them into a new story. Excellent!

This is part of why I love the Flash - they are NEVER ashamed about the comic book roots or the heritage of the character. Rather it is completely embraced and accepting of the camp and will even poke fun at how silly it can be. You can tell that not only is the crew having fun with it but they expect the audience to

[..] with the addition of a pair of gloves being the only major difference

Glory be to the CW, giver of The Flash.

It’s Black Widow. The double agent has to be Black Widow. She trusts Steve more than Tony.

can someone please go chat with the Killjoys writers about real science? A spaceship being pulled in by a toxic cloud is just cringe-worthy.

Honestly, Fox should just make an X-Men Cinematic Universe. Make Uncanny X-Men, X-Force, X-Factor, X-Statix, Weapon X, and, of course, X-Treme X-Men. All of them set in different time periods with different actors.

Nah. Whedon is gone. They’re probably fine.
