You must watch seasons 2 and 3. Believe me, I get where you are coming from. That first season was super hard to slog through (even if it had its moments) but its a new show for the other seasons. I am a huge DC nerd and I find myself most excited for new LoT than anything else.

They did pretty well with make-up on Defiance where multiple actors (including Jesse Rath) were wearing different coloured make-ups (white, orange and later purple). I’m pretty sure that CW’s budget isn’t smaller than Syfy’s.
