Yeah, it’s about ethics in gaming journalism.

I suppose you’re a robot that takes everything ultra seriously.

I read up on rape stats and stories, and I’ve never been raped.

I’ve been gaming for over 30 years now. Only in the last few years have I been reluctant to admit that I’m a gamer.

Gaming culture is trash. Burn it down.

Always sad when things like this happen. Something is made for children, it’s light and airy and happy, but edgy teens like to edge it up and make it about them. It’s the Brony takeover thing but on larger and more subtle level.

You autistic or pedantic, or both?

Nope. You seem to win at having more time to debate these things with. I guess you don’t have a family, job, hobbies? That’s all I can think of. One has to manage their time effectively. I’ve given you the tools to do so, go forth and research. Have a fun time doing so.

I have loved the GS games as a teen back then. It was a hidden gem when I decided to pop in that cartridge with the interesting logo into my Game Boy Advance while I was at my friend’s place. Little did I know I would fall in love with the game within the next hour. I remember getting hyped as fuck when The Lost Age

Props for Mega Drive. I’ll be in my cold, cold grave before I call it a (eugh) Genesis

Super Mario World. I’m lucky in that my brain switches off long term recording or something, because I keep forgetting little details. Like, how to get onto Star Road or beat the Forest of Illusion. It’s lovely.

I pretty much agree. Maybe it’s the nostalgia talking, but there’s something special about the way Nintendo make games. Especially Zelda games. Even though the graphics in Ocarina of Time are now old. It still evokes a certain charm and quality that can’t be duplicated. You can improve the graphics, but you can’t

Not everyone can nail that Nintendo feel. In fact, very few (non-Nintendo) professionals even can do that. They just have that magic.

Really? It’s just ugly when compared to modern Zelda titles. Like, they’ve simply increased the resolution, added some post-processing, left the textures flat but increased their res slightly, the character is jarringly out of place (the quality is much higher).

These always look so soulless. This one is no exception.

Years ago I had impressions that furries were weird sexual deviants, a thought stemming from the story about this guy who would travel to furry conventions in the 90's. He used to live with people as a pet and perform sexual favors for them.

Star Wars *is* a Western. A Space Western...

We’ve hired people/bought tech that we first saw on the floor before now. I love it and I can’t see that changing.

I’m not under an NDA, it’s my studio/product. My staff are, though. But that said I wouldn’t tell what that is because people who speak out against gamergate etc have their employees, friends, and family targetted by them.

As someone who attends it but doesn’t showcase (it’s not necessary for our product) yeah it’s relevant. It’s still the big one and loads of people go there. We sell more licenses during E3 than all the other expos combined.
