Taking my console developer hat off for a second.

What an idiotic move on Microsoft’s behalf. It’s 2016 for fucks sake.

btw Just thought I’d add. We supported VR in our software (we make engines) as soon as our Rift dev kit arrived. Currently I’ve got a bunch of VR devices that I can’t fully talk about. I may have thrown off some red herrings with my Sony question!

Is that the case with all OLEDs? I’ve noticed that on all my OLED displays the dot pitch is much smaller.

I’m not British either. Just use “generic game shop”. or “game shop” for short.

And those things don’t escalate out of those zones like gamergate things do. I trust you’re aware of “self containment issues”? None of those actors have been swatted, or had their private information leaked (doxed), like gaming-culture critics have.

Hah, I totally get that.

Of course I do. I also know about gamergate, prior to that I know the scattered groups of anti-women, anti-everything emo types. I’ve worked in the industry since the 90's, played in it since the 80's. Seen it at all at this stage.

What do I do? I think I gave a single example, you’re optionally going off the deep end over it.

What’s “in” about it? Why am I hating myself?

Is there a difference any more?

I suppose you’re a robot that takes everything ultra seriously.

I read up on rape stats and stories, and I’ve never been raped.

Same same same. And I’ve worked in the industry just as long too.

Agreed.

I know a lot about it, thanks.

Let’s hope so.

Gaming culture is trash. Burn it down.

The theory is that a game built under constraints can be made “on the fly” from only a super basic concept. But something with no limits must be designed out in as much detail as possible, first.

They’re both a symptom of a gross subculture though. “I am depressive, I want to turn popular media into something more suited to me” to downplay it is to just let in Brony culture, and the rest. I’m not calling for it to end, I’m just calling out those who engage in it are missing the point of the media in their
