I don't even care about the guns, I just wonder what they do that they would need or want all of those components around them. It just seems cluttered.

@teleclimber: For something that was designed back in the late 50's, the design was definitely ahead of it's time.

The design of the Concorde is one of the most beautiful of any aircraft.

I miss the KPT Vortex Tiling plug-in for Photoshop.

@Philip.J.Fry: If it makes you feel better, I was working there in 2002 when it was $9...and I didn't buy!!!

All this iPhone speculation...

@wanderingrabbi: Those first few lines distracted me so I couldn't finish the article. :-)

"Ejaculatin of glass", "Always wear potection"...what was on the author's mind this morning?

@Francisco Galárraga: Sorry, I think it's the way I worded it. I was saying, he was so screwed up at this point, In His Mind, there was nothing that could be done. Counseling could have helped but as long as he believed that it couldn't, it was irrelevant.

This day started for me watching the story of Ted Williams, a homeless man who was discovered to have an amazing broadcasting voice who is now in the throws of job offers and getting his life back together. It was a story that moved me and inspired me and reminded me of everything great in the world.

@Greg Krynen: I get what you're saying and I was thinking the same thing but then I realized that one of the horrible things about this is that he felt he was too messed up for counseling and that nothing could help.

I hope you finally found some comfort my friend...RIP.

@notfeelingit: Yes but it would have to be a much longer process than just a quick scan or pat-down. We would have to start like Israel, before people even got in the airport, as they were driving to it and it would have to be everyone. We would be looking for certain signs from anyone.

@Scott Mann: Thank you Scott, that was helpful.

@Arken: You don't have to thank me, it was my pleasure.
