I’d like to know who started this idiotic fetish of portrait-oriented videos with the same shot enlarged and put out-of-focus to the sides of the video to fill in the landscape-oriented screen. Does it drive everyone else bonkers? It does me.

So if you’re looking for something small, efficient and affordable, dealers will screw you?

Was going to get the wing done this summer for our Ford Transit. Life is getting in the way.

Counterpoint:  Screwing around with (and likely damaging, from the looks of the photo) somebody else’s ride isn’t really funny at all.

I’m of the opinion that the capital punishment to be essentially banned, but am against taking it off the book. And this person is exactly the reason.

As one who is picking up his new furbaby kitty from the Animal Refuge League later this afternoon, this is grounds for summary execution. Preferably in the most painful and inhumane way possible. Tossed out of a car at high speed in heavy traffic would be fine with me, but maybe not quite painful enough.

Wife and I are looking to replace her MKX. The new Nautilus checks all of our boxes big time but no chance I can work in American manufacturing and buy a Chinese-made car.

my new car was built in good ole Michigan!

It’s ethically problematic to buy Chinese goods, though it’s nigh impossible in 2024 to find tech items that aren’t partly or wholly assembled there. While I can’t not buy an iPhone for these reasons, I can absolutely boycott a tens of thousands of $’s automobile made in an autocratic country with a garbage human

I would have a Tesla by now if Musk weren't the CEO. I can't justify giving that man my money.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: EVs are too damn powerful. Nobody needs this kind of power. Nobody.

It’s been found that the proportional size of certain parts of the brain correlate to political views. For example, if the part of the brain that is responsible for the fight-or-flight response (the right amygdala) is larger, that is correlated to a higher likelihood of being politically conservative.

Must have swerved to the right despite having his left blinker on

Did “progressivism” leave him or did corporate, fascist money find him?

So far, that’s the only one I’ve seen. It’s usually a bad sign to only see one of a vehicle around here soon after it’s released. I’ve seen a ton of barely released vehicles over the years. In 1991(?) I saw the Jeep Grand Cherokee that was shown at the Detroit Auto Show, the one that was driven through a pane of

I had one of these, in college. I bought it Used of course. I actually liked the car. Not enough to buy one new, but If I had the means I could see me sitting this in the garage for no reason and never driving it. It’s just as interesting as seeing an obscure 80's car in mint condition. The glass is all new interior
