Touch screen interface for car functions. I get that all cars need a screen for the nav, carplay, backup cam. But things like HVAC, Volume, Wipers, Hazzards, AWD mode should NOT require looking at a screen to operate.

Yeah everyone is. Corporate espionage is everywhere. The only difference is China is a state capitalist system so its a nation doing it and they have a much larger intelligence budget than any company.  

Potentially unpopular opinion: Put huge tariffs on their cars or give them the “chicken tax” treatment. China itself puts massive tariffs on our exports, cars included. So its only fair to do the same. I will fully admit I am a hypocrite seeing as how I buy a lot of Chinese made things, which these days is unavoidable…
