Visors that can be extended

It calls these drivers “Zoom Zombies.”

That blue paint is fantastic.

You guys whine about boring colors, then whine about bold colors.

What’s wrong with the purple? At least it’s something other the boring as hell black/white/silver/grey options.

I saw one of these the other day on the road. The thing is still funky and awesome

It’s like a baby VehiCROSS for the 21st century.

It's gorgeous.

I adore the new 2020 Fit. I would have totally bought one. :(

“More and more I feel like the world of automobiles (at least in the US) is leaving me behind. Wagons, hatchbacks, sedans, coupes, convertibles, going away. Endless distracting touchscreens with no tactile feeling. No more fun colors available on most cars. Every vehicle looks angry. Blehh...”

On top of that, she was $20,000 in debt because her stream setup, especially the mocap suit, did not come cheap.

And if you have a family of four or five, you can fold down the third row, giving you a massive expanse of usable cargo space. It’s like an enclosed pickup truck back there. Our Honda Odyssey has a roof rack but we’ve never had to use it because everything we could possibly want to bring with us on a road trip fits

I ended up in a Pacifica rental to get from Tulsa to SF. Just me and a ton of shit out of a Big rig, basically a second home. And by the end of the trip I was hooked. Fast enough. Comfortable as anything, kick ass sound system, remote sliding doors are amazing and acres of room.

I wish Mazda had not discontinued the 5, super reliable and smaller than full size minivans for people that need a smaller solution, there are no new alternatives to this as far as I know. Our CX5 is great, but it would be nice to have the option of a slightly bigger mazda5 as the company has no minivan option now.

Me and two other guys living in the same house in my mid-20s all had Mazda 5s. All with manual and various bike racks. It was a perfect mountain bike hauler and camping it it was a breeze. My wife learned to drive stick in it. It got decent gas mileage and was surprisingly fun to drive. I even hitched a small trailer

I was pro-minivan before having a kid, but anyone who’s tried to load a car seat when some idiot parked too close to them and didn’t think sliding doors might be useful is completely in denial.

Agree 100%. The minivan is so unjustly shit upon when in many contexts it is the correct answer to the question. If youve had the chance to be in a higher end model in the last few years, it’s hard to deny how far they have come.

I convinced my wife to test drive a minivan as an alternative to an SUV for carting around our two large dogs. She quickly converted when she realized not only is it more spacious, but thanks to the general minivan hatted we were able to get a much better equipped example than the SUV’s in the same price range.

The minivan.
