You always deliver :)
I'm actually suprised by all the improvements for hardcore use. And for a change I'm actually more excited about the 3ds than the 3dsXL. I like the whole snes chills it gives me.
Man, that is so cool. I love that direction, I can't wait to see what else they do.
I'll have to concur on most of this. Are we really complaining that a "Dynasty Warriors" game is too much "Dynasty Warriors"? Of couse the availability of no online play (as of right now; who knows what's gonna come out of the long-time support based on the seemingly large interest in this title) is a bit of a downer…
the top right of the poster says, "next treasure, Marie Antoinette"
We're probably at the point where hardly anybody knows Shinobi II soundtrack... And AMAGAD it's sooo good. Look them all up, there's a bunch of amazing ones.
I'm objecting to being lumped in with them. I am not lumping myself in with them. I am saying that every discussion I've been involved in with Sarkeesian results in her defenders coming out to tell me I'm one of those "kill yourself" people, and that's neither fair nor true.
See, this bugs me quite a bit. Back when she released her first video, I felt there were some problems with it, so, as best I could, I explained why I felt that way. People chose to take it as "concern trolling," and much, much worse. Her defenders, at the time, remind me of the same people who attack and deride her.
Calling the trolls harassing her "rational debate" is indeed insulting to rational debate. But the issue is that the attempts at rational debate also get labeled as harassment/misogyny/trolling by the SJW crowd who apparently can't fathom that anything Anita would say might be factually incorrect or even debatable.
I would like to take this opportunity to confirm for the record that I am also a cat.
That's a loaded statement.
Discussing those is ultimately in everyone's interest.
I suppose this issue can really be sourced back to the fact that we have 90% male protagonists in games - which in turn is caused by games being mostly marketed to men, as evidenced by some of the low-class, sexist advertising she cites.
Sarkeesian makes pretty good points. Writers and directors should do better than what they've been doing. However, I'm reluctant to say that violence against any single group of people should be removed from creative work since that has the potential to shut down a vein of narrative. I mean sure, "imagine better…
Not only that, but it will also hopefully keep the game interesting for longer.
6 characters, 8 cars and 16 tracks for $12 is DLC pricing done right.
Yeah, I think this is great. It really extends the lifespan of the game and will keep people interested until the next system comes out.
