I hope whoever made the threat is punished to the full extent of the law as applicable in the circumstances. No one deserves harassment and threats made against them.

I mostly imported CDs from Japan, but recently I ordered my first two Japanese games and both have now arrived from Japan.

Near-Field Communications. It's tech that's used in things like Skylanders, Disney Infinity and Amiibo, and also as a contactless payment system. The tech is seen in phones, at check-outs, and on mass transportation systems.

On the 3DS and Wii U, some demos have a limited number of uses. It varies and every so often there's one with a limitless amount of uses, like the Club Nintendo Smash Bros 3DS demo. It's not my favourite system, but I prefer it to some of the demos I've seen on the 360 where you have a set time-limit to play that

For me 'Game of the Year' is the game I've put the most time in to, enjoyed the most, and been happiest with in terms of price, content, extra content, controls, and entertainment. So far that's Hyrule Warriors, I can't count Xenoblade Chronicles because while I first played it this year, it's not a 2014 game.

Working on other things, sorry! This year's been a bit nuts.

Abs Crunchum.

I've used up my demo. I kept popping into the game every so often to get another taste that now I've no more uses left and am having to wait for the delivery of my copy of the game.

Meanwhile, sadly, the Wii U versions of both Dragon Age: Inquisition and Assassin's Creed Unity are running at a subpar zero-p.

No regrets on the £986 I've spent on my Wii U. I plan on doing a post in December to write about how I've fallen in love with it over a year of owning one.

"I think it's a great idea for Ubisoft. They've gone to motion capture, and this spring I will be 65 years old. I don't think anyone wants to pay money seeing a 65 year old Sam Fisher bounce around on set, killing and stumbling while he kills people. I wish them all the luck. I hope that franchise has a long and

All together, I have spent £986.23 or $1589.65 in under a year on my console.

I'm giving you a star simply for the use of tchotchke. I understand where you're coming from with regards to your own needs, I just hope that physical never goes away.

I like having media taking up space. Actually, I like organizing said media. It's the bonus level to ownership of them.

In terms of gaming technology that interests me the least, Cloud Gaming is right up there at #1 on the list. I'll stick with boxes, discs and cartridges until the last and then I'll probably just stop.

I've been using the Gamepad for it, but I'm not a fan of using the screen touch for changing items, I find it quicker for me to quickly tap through the D-pad wheel seeing as I've memorized where the items are. Also, as mentioned in this comment thread I worry about being rough with the Gamepad when it comes to

Dark Pit is... eh. Why didn't they give him Angel Ring (Pit's Forward B from Brawl) instead of just giving him Electroshock Arm (like 3DS/U Pit's Upperdash Arm)? Dr. Mario got the Mario Tornado from Melee after all.

No idea why the Classic Controller Pro isn't supported, it is for Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper.

I find the Gamepad great to use, I just worry about getting a bit rough with it when playing the upcoming Bayonetta games. I'm not sure what's so bad about Xenoblade, the Classic Controller Pro I found a breeze to use during the 114~ hours I sunk into it.

Now playing

Wasn't this on Kotaku Soundtrack recently?
