If you're talking about the sound quality being bad on an actual Mega Drive/Genesis, it may be due to the version of the motherboard. Some revisions are well noted for their poor sound quality. For emulators, it depends on the emulator itself.

I didn't expect as such, which is nice in a way as it gives me more time to set money aside for it. I think that when it comes out over here, it'll come out with Xenoblade 3DS and some other titles that are n3DS exclusive or n3DS enhanced.

Shame to hear this, both as a vaguely human thing with empathy for the staff, and as someone who has appreciated NoE translating games like Xenoblade Chronicles, Pandora's Tower, The Last Story, Disaster: Day of Crisis and Project Zero 2/Fatal Frame 2.
