Truth. As soon as I could I grabbed the Oracle games on my 3DS and Minish Cap on the Wii U.

It really has dropped off compared to a decade ago in the UK. Then again, variety in the listings is long dead, most of the time now it's the same few shows on repeat.

I didn't mind the Go Nagai stuff so much. Vampire Wars, Psychic Wars, Sword For Truth on the other hand? To hell with that dross.

Sky One and Fox Kids hooked me on shows that lead to stumbling across Sci-Fi Channel's late night anime movies. Going from Pokemon and Sailor Moon to Violence Jack and Urotsukidoji was a bit of a whiplash but hey, Ghost in the Shell, Appleseed, Patlabor and the Bubblegum Crisis stuff more than made up for that.

I could have bought Diablo III. I got Torchlight 2 instead.

Now playing

I also hope we get to see the Outer Senshi. I'm not sure their transformations will ever top the ones in BSSM:S though.

I like to imagine how the mix of old and new might turn out, like cities with castles in and old buildings next to modern high-rise glass and steel things.

Lapras. Lakes full of Lapras in Scotland.

I'd say do it and then set the next game in a China-themed region but I'd love to see the Pokemon equivalent of the UK and Ireland. It's just a little way north of Kalos after all.

Yeah, I prefer a lot of the original anime friendships and characterization more to the manga one. It does some things better, it does some things worse. The dub butchered Rei and Usagi's relationship somewhat, especially episode 38 of the dub, 43 of the original. Hell, it butchered their characters too. You can see

Part of me is glad to see a lack of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal there. The animation quality leaves a lot to be desired.

Teasing with great ideas, sorry.

Kirby Star Smash, where you can just touch an amiibo to the Gamepad's NFC reader for him to gain the ability of that Smash Bros character without having to hunt down a source in game.

As of my last Xenoblade Chronicles Save, I'm 82 hours and 18 minutes in. Doing a lot of exploring, a lot of sidequests, a lot of unique monster hunting.

That was a very enjoyable write-up, and for someone who has the game in the backlog piled under many other titles, I don't think anything major got spoiled for me, which is always a plus. (Though spoilers and old games I'm not so bothered about, I'm glad I went into Xenoblade Chronicles unspoiled.)

Most of the GBA games I'd like to pick up are the SEGA ones, as you can use them to unlock extras in Project Rub/Feel the Magic XY/XX. In general it's the ones that either link with DS games or with Gamecube games that interest me, the latter of which would require a GBA with the GBA-GC cable.

About the DS and GBA, aside from transferring from 3rd to 4th gen there's also Dual Slot mode, which means that the five gen 3 games can make pokemon appear in the Diamond/Pearl/Platinum games that aren't usually there.

I've been meaning to get LEGO City Undercover. It's on the small list of Wii U games I that are out and I don't own.

I'm glad that Last Story won't be so long, I'm at 80 hours in Xenoblade and I'm sure I've got a long way to go yet. I'd like to finish it before Xenoblade Chronicles X comes out. Hell, I'd like to finish it before Hyrule Warriors comes out.

I've just got a Cosmic Black 3DS and a Black/Red 3DS XL. I was considering adding a 2DS to the line up at some point but I think I may save to get a DS Lite for GBA/DS interaction if I decide to grab the 3rd gen Pokemon games.
