I think the point isn’t that it’s UNcommon, the point is it’s fundamentally strange to discover a whole apartment behind your bathroom wall.

Jack Donaghy??
I’d agree with you if they we’re both over 30 when it started. But she was 21 when they met and he was in a mentorship position over her during a competition that would determine if she became famous for a music career. Not saying it absolutely can’t have been a healthily developed relationship, but I am saying there…
I’m so glad we’re accepting that it’s perfectly normal and acceptable for a man to romantically pursue a woman half his age.
Yes! It’s not like he’s been all into being a figurehead. All the time he spent in the military (and not just staying at home as a figurehead) was not the sign of a Man who wanted to spend his life smiling and cutting ribbons. He then married a woman (conveniently when he got bumped so far down that his grandmother…
I think it’s the British press just making up shit, they know the Palace won’t respond.
I’m on the team of whoever’s not covering for a sexual predator....so in this case, that’s Harry and Meghan.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he made this declaration while on a small cruise ship in the Caribbean.
Meanwhile in Canada
Pretending that there’s no pandemic has gone so well before.
“So which lounge am I in? Gucci? Mercedes?”
You mean pissing section in a public pool wasn’t a great way to control this pandemic? My Instastories are FILLED with assholes club and bar hopping in pre-pandemic type crowds and its absolutely mind boggling. Does mom and dad need to die to take this shit seriously??
It’s maddening to me how short-sighted policymakers have been during the pandemic. “Oh hey, looks like cases are trending down since we’ve been doing vaccines and sticking to our regulations. Time now to open things back up! What could possibly go wrong?”
The threat is real. Here in Europe people are getting impatient and the start of spring doesn’t help. Of course there’s also the fact that we’re now about 1 year later and in a worse position than when it started. People don’t want to even take the effort any more and just ignore warnings. This will backfire…
You can make your own decision, of course - I think higher risk people do society a favor by getting vaccinated as soon as their number comes up. Higher risk people take up more hospital resources if they DO get covid; not having to go to the hospital or be intubated is worth the shot.
Nobody should be critical of you. Cheating to jump the queue is bad, but there’s no moral question to answer when your number is called.
Apart from ANYTHING else, all the bullshit and stupid discrimination heavier people go through, having a vaccine is, the evidence is increasingly starting to suggest, a barrier to transmission. You get vaccinated, you're breaking Covid's route through you to someone it can kill.
Sure, but now instead of grappling with my anxiety and rationalizing through how unlikely it is that petting a dog will give me COVID or re-applying hand sanitizer every time I touch an unfamiliar surface, I can just shout “DOG!” from across the room like a joyful toddler, just like I always have.
Americans love to judge one another, but the only thing that should determine medical care is science. That includes vaccines. I’ve heard lots of complaints about smokers being eligible, too. Medical care should not be divvied out based on perceptions of who “deserves” it but on the scientific realities of who needs…
I’m 5'10 and 335 lbs. I also work in healthcare. I am now fully vaccinated. I have a complicated relationship with my body, but like Megan, I feel like in this situation it’s helping me out.
