Why would you do that?

That doesn’t even mean it was BAD material! It could just mean she didn’t think it demanded sufficient character work on her part to warrant an acting consideration.”

It’s not a question of whether she was wrong. Just because something is true doesn’t always mean it needs to be said.

And if you’ll read my comment to the other reply, she said that, but still in a conversation in which she stands by what she said without any sort of apology or remorse.  Saying she should have said something different is more about for her career and reputation rather than because it was unkind and she’s sorry, as

“*Kavanaugh, behalf of SCOTUS: Hold my beer”

Remember “Germans love David Hasselhoff”?  I guess “Italians love Kevin Spacey.”

I am.  I’m saying decent, not world-class. lol  I enjoyed her performances in How To Be Single and in Bad Times at the El Royale.  And yes I did see Fifty Shades and there were no Oscar-worthy performances there from anyone so I’m calling that a wash.

If you say so. Your comment didn’t demonstrate an understanding of what I said as it wasn’t responsive to my words in any way, and in fact indicated that you thought a back-and-forth should ensue because “that’s how this works,” even though I was clear (I thought—I agree with you that what I said wasn’t at all

I’m not saying you can’t reply to me.  I’m saying I don’t consider myself in position to defend Sheryl Crow’s beliefs, so I don’t know what the appropriate response would be to your comment.

Fair enough. lol

Big boy!  Bless him.

Yeah, no, we don’t let people off the hook by writing off bigotry as a mental health disease. She’s choosing to be this way.

Not just you!  I said the same thing.  We’ve become accustomed to having everything we’ve ever seen being readily and permanently available, but that doesn’t mean it’s always been that way (as some of us remember) or that it has to be that way.  It’s okay to have something exist only as a memory.  That’s been life
