Nah, the last SNL reviewer on SNL used to say that all the time—”they shouldn’t have made a sketch out of this because it’s absurd enough”--and I always thought that was silly criticism.  Just because it’s ridiculous doesn’t mean a joke can’t be made out of it.

is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits”

I know!  I’m a little sad for him that he didn’t realize his dream of being a comic or showman of some sort.

This isn’t the biggest cast they’ve had. It’s trimmed down some. I like having a variety of performers for a bigger variety of characters.

Liberty, son, liberty.

Jost and Che are consistently funny, I think.  To me it’s the most reliable part of the show.

Speaking as a Tennessean, this impression was excellent and I hated it. lol

Short king on update. The short bachelor sketch. The Spanish speaking students with Mikey Day as the teacher. The one where he was the prince talking to Christopher Columbus. He was naked on a garbage truck that time. He was the security guard in the anti-drug sketch.

This episode was horrible. I barely laughed. SO SICK of the trump impression. Accuracy does not a joke make. An authentic impression is a great skill, but if there’s no joke, what’s the point of using it on a comedy show? JAJ is actually one of the better performers on this cast; I don’t need to keep seeing him recap

Nah you definitely changed the subject, and you definitely did all that other stuff too.

lol Call names if you want, but these are the facts. 1. You acknowledged that you’ve never experienced being the victim of racism, so your only experience with racism is being the person doing the racist behavior, which makes you biased towards perspectives that minimize racism (such as “well unintentional racism is

Yes, we agree that you have not experienced racism and therefore have no frame of reference from which to make pronouncements about whether there are degrees of racism, nor do you have standing to accuse a victim of racism of having bad motives just because they chose not to go out of their way to protect the

I do, but if you can’t give me one that’s okay.

The term “microaggression” doesn’t refer to the qualitative “bad” of the act. It doesn’t refer to the impact on the person or the amount of racism inherent in the act. It’s not that a microaggression is better than a macroaggression. It’s that it’s less obvious and more difficult to identify. Obviously killing a

“I looked at both people and I give a shit about both people.”

There’s no nuance to be flattened out here. As a person at whom racism is and has been deployed, I am telling you that it’s a distinction without a difference. Whether someone’s racism is “deeply ingrained” or not is of no difference to the effect their racist behavior has on me. You’re looking at what it means for

“Every racist thing is not equally racist”

No I’m not saying you weren’t being helpful.  I definitely would have googled it.  I’m saying that the accusation was that somehow having this list made it easy for us to tell who the person was, which it definitely did not, even though we would have looked.  It’s not as if any of them are named “Film Set Abuser.” lol

Stay tuned for a summer blockbuster starring Spacey, Neeson, Stone, and Fry. :/
