You’re the person who posted the Forbidden Planet Borderlands thing I think? As far as I can tell as an outsider this seems like your weekly contest to lose but I’d love to see someone shut you down. Not because I wish any ill will but because if someone else can possibly win it must have been a hell of a shop. For

You checked out Remnant yet? I had the same reaction as the Giant Bomb/Waypoint podcasts where about a few hours in I said to my friend “this... this is just a great game huh?” There’s this odd disconnect between expectation from that particular dev and just how good Remnant feels to play. Hard to put my finger on it b

Holy moly this is dope.

Two stories came to mind as I was reading this. The first one is about my ex feeding our pet Bumblebee Python Sterling and forgetting to put the top back on the terrarium. Naturally, Sterling escaped and hasn’t been seen since. I’m confident he continues to live his long life startling whoever lives in that apartment

Good little breakdown, thanks! The bit about being passionate for the release made me think of Remnant: From the Ashes. I played until a major story beat dropped out of the sky and my best friend and I had the same reaction most critics have. “Holy shit, this game is just actually good.” All pretense was dropped and

Video Game Expert Tim Rogers?! I’m in. Expecting the game to feature plenty of abrupt NFL music. On another note, Chris this is a nice little write-up!

After finishing BotW I gave my Wii U to my brother on the west coast... who I happen to be visiting right now so I’m taking it back. Been itching to replay Wind Waker for some reason recently so I’ll pick that up, maybe Pikmin 3 as well.

My first thought was MHW. Then I remembered I also played Destiny and WoW once and I’m on an odd Warframe kick currently. I don’t think I’ve put 100+ hours into anything other than maybe OG Starcraft and Civ II aside from those. Oh, crap. Fromsoft happened too. Right. So around eight games I cry and continue to play.

Man, Annapurna feels like the new Devolver. Strong branding. Whenever I see the logo my immediate thought is “oh, alright, let’s see what this is about”.

Are you sure you’re not just accidentally getting more salt in the wound when you keep scratching it? It sucks to watch a thing you loved as a kid get made for new kids but it happens. Let them have this one.

My best friend and I no longer live anywhere near each other and we got into Warframe recently. It’s pretty rock solid for what it is. It’s basically a space ninja chat room for us. I think the free-to-play model they have is good but definitely recommend people grab a frame or two with paid currency then start

I download this game then delete it for space for this exact reason. I’ve put 20 hours in and enjoy the adventure of it but the music is turned down to around 25% and I tend to just have a podcast on. Such a genuine bummer. Love that footstep loading screen sound effect though!

I do not understand the hatred Epic has managed to garner amongst the PC crowd. They give people a free game a week, they pay developers better than the competition, and by having exclusives to lure people to their platform, the only real potential rival Steam has seen, they wind up the villains. I genuinely don’t get

This content is so good it’s edible. I’m gastrically sated right now. The inclusion of a Seanbaby Barbie reference simply guarantees I will not have to season my actual, real dinner tonight as your words have destroyed my palate for anything that is not more of these words.

Why is there no delete comment when editing? Anyway, I’m deleting a comment. IGNORE ME!

You just reminded me that Bobo from Cypress Hill stole my copy of KOTOR 2. Which is a real sentence that actually happened and I’m not even mad because I get to type that.

I was just talking about this with my best friend the other day. I was at the idol outside the last boss who I knew I could drop and just... didn’t want to press forward to trigger the fight. I didn’t want it to end. In other From games you can do a level 1/BL4 run to try to recapture some of that first playthrough,

I’ll have you know not all Nokia phones with Snake are ancient, I use a 3310. I still have a deactivated iPhone I keep in my back pocket when WiFi is available but it’s really helped with just removing myself from all the noise constant connection creates.

So Will Smith as Professor Oak in 20 years in a future live action reboot confirmed, got it.

For what it’s worth I don’t recall confetti becoming purchasable until quite, quite late in the game and even then they cost 300 a pop. If you’re going to only kill one headless kill the one you (probably) first encounter in the cave off the side of the cliff. That’s maybe the most useful item drop?
