I realized I was looking at this to see how much closer Sekiro was to coming out then I remembered I’m playing it right now.

Genuinely asking, what about Celeste made you keep going to 100%? I assume that includes the B Sides? Sekiro very much has the “one more try” thing going because it often has saves near bosses and skips the Souls run-back but it’s just as (if not more than) punishing as a Bloodborne or Souls game. I’m confused by your

Diesel. I don’t normally pre-order but I decided to play consumer Russian Roulette with you and you said YES five times. I was obliged to pull the trigger after.

Just a heads up but I think the picture you have labeled as “Katana Zero” is Creature in the Well? Both looked cool so easy mistake!

Glad there’s a video like this but, much like your gaming fellow Tim Rogers (who I’m surprised agreed to this video), I’m minimizing how much footage I see so I can take it all in fresh. Polite request for a quick “should I play it”?

This just made me miss Chu Chu Rocket. That was a great one on Dreamcast.

Get that new Hitman team on it and I’m interested...

Interesting Respawn made that header image, my understanding was that Mirage had a boyfriend? Waypoint mentioned it on the last podcast so that’s all I’m going off of but I did a double take on the picture because of it.

I think you hit on just how bad the progression of this game is because it sounds like the way you want to play just isn’t rewarded. I got all 3 endings in about 70 hours but to have spent twice that without being able to see the “proper” end is a genuine disservice. That being said, the end of the Atlantis storyline

I’ve been looking for a straight yes or no to this one: is this game fun? After the yes or no I’m curious to hear thoughts on whether or not this game should be typed out as “game”. Is this just a technical achievement with a $60 wrapper? Wow, wrapper is an awful looking word aesthetically. Hate when that happens. I

On a scale of one to Shakespeare, how good do you feel about hamburgrized?

I knew somewhere deep down that the answer was the question “what are the Elder Scrolls?” but just couldn’t come up with it despite spending most of my life embedded in gaming culture. I’m old, all those games are called Skyrim now, when’s the next nuclear Skyrim coming out? Skyrim 76 is soon right?

This was great but... there are mechanical and technical layers that make me think this just isn’t going to happen as it is currently pitched. And if it does the game is going to have around 8 main quests tops. Narrative that bleeds into gameplay with multiple paths through buildings based on player build seems like a

Well... I just spent question mark amount of dollars. Bring on the Dreamcast! And Saturn so that Panzer Dragoon Saga becomes affordable.

You mentioned that the game seems built for expansion and, while I agree, I think it’s actually our brains justifying what is the only major design flaw in this game. The gear upgrade system is truly awful and clearly designed by different teams. The Muspelheim gear is awesome but level 4 unless you run the challenges

Japanese whisky is fascinating and they are doing some great stuff. I’ve been able to get quite a bit of the Nikka stuff in Colorado and am impressed. Do you discuss the differences between the legal limitations of countries in the book?

Interesting, I recall the combat being solid. It had environmental impalement if I recall and no one was doing that sort of stuff yet I don’t think. Plus everyone was doing block puzzles back then, at least Raziel moved them quickly. I can’t imagine the game holds up that well design-wise nowadays but for its time I

Fortnite just doesn’t click with me but man is it impressive as an outsider looking in at the scale to which this game has been successful, updated constantly, and been able to pull wild crap like this. Oh, and I want to guess Sephiroth is to blame? Just my default Meteor thought.

What about the Charge Blade?

I was thinking the Kirkhammer. Switches from sharp short sword to blunt hammer. That thing felt like a MH weapon trapped in Bloodborne to me.
