I read that piece by Ramit yesterday, and completely agree. Money is a tool. Sites like Mr. Money Mustache and others will teach you to amass it, how to make it work for you, and how to achieve financial independence. It’s very easy to get caught up in the saving mentality, and write off many potential experiences.

I was just saying this same thing in a reply to a thread a few weeks ago.
