A million times this. I used to use VLOOKUP all the time, and even had to re-arrange my data to get it to work. Someone showed me the INDEX/MATCH and I’m hooked and will never go back.

Powerful article, Patrick. This helps to point me in the right direction for some upcoming presentations.

This dates me a bit probably, but I did this once with a boombox radio. I had the volume cranked and kept flipping breakers off until I found the one I needed.

Word.

After reading this, I think I can now excel at Word.

I stopped booking through third party sites because of the way I was treated, and the accommodations. While the room can be cheaper, I once got a room that just had a roll-away bed - there wasn’t an actual bed in the room, which was about as large as a closet. I asked for a room with a real bed and once my reservation

Yes, you can roll the money over into another HSA without any tax penalty. There’s just one minor catch: you can only transfer once within a 365 day period, so it all needs to go in one big move if you want to take care of everything.

Sorry but that image is hilarious.

Didn't have to pay, just swipe your ticket. Depending on how far you went that was the charge. My issue was I bought a ticket for say €4 trip but took one that was €4,5 and had to make the difference before I left (or just be clever to sneak out).

Good tips! I’m not sure how it might work in other cities but in Paris, you need your subway ticket to exit. You go through the same gates people go through to enter. I ran into some trouble a few years ago when I was there because I switched lines that had a fare difference and my original ticket wouldn’t get me out.

This needs to be on the front page for a good, long while so everyone is forced to read this until they understand.

I thought that at first but then it seemed to make sense given that one of the ending options was spiritual driven. They were worded rather odd, at least for me, but maybe that’s because I’m 0% spiritual.

Ditto.

Ah, I’m glad I know what their catch to being free is. I wondered, but apparently not enough to look into it.

Fish? For breakfast? In the microwave? There is so much wrong with this on so many levels.

I bought a 2014 Jeep Cherokee in March 2015. I had put a fair number of miles on it (~10k) when I started having problems with the transmission - jerky shifting, revving up when breaking, among others. I had an appointment to take it in for service on a Saturday, but I was driving back to Baltimore from Boston on a

I’m going to try this at work, only I think I’ll throw the boiling water on the person who thought it was fine to microwave fish-sticks in the community microwave.

I guess I got something different out of the article than when you read it. I didn’t equate an impulse to automatically jumping on something... hence the definition that states that it is an urge. I do see your point, just didn’t click with me at first.

Noun: a sudden strong and unreflective urge or desire to act.

I was looking to pay for the upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro. When I clicked on the link and was taken to the store, the price was listed as $199, but I thought the upgrade from Home to Pro was priced at $99. Is this not the case - is the upgrade really set at $199?
