Surprise, Jalopnik has negative comments about Tesla. I should just cut and paste this comment for every article.

The United States federal government prefers CCS, too, probably because it’s preferred by virtually every other EV maker that isn’t Tesla
Except here, NACS is superior to CCS in the US. Your analogy to lightning is not accurate as lighting does not have the same technical performance as USB C and USB C is a mess as there are multiple standards under that umbrella. NACS is easier to handle, smaller and less prone to breakage. Combines L2 and DC Fast…
Look, we have pretty good models that are able to mathematically predict how long a secret or conspiracy can stay covered up based off of how many people and organizations know about it.
The jokes on you because you are negotiating with a middle man that is already inflating the price. You don’t stand to save, only minimize the added markup.
You know what else runs on electricity? Gas pumps.
I agree. I think Jalopnik jumped the gun here. Tesla has always published promo videos and blog posts on their own social media, this is nothing new. They have literally hundreds of videos on their YouTube channel.
EV competition is a great thing for the consumers. As long as the individual has multiple choices which have similar specs and price points, we will get companies to innovate and try to win over business.
As much as this site loves to shit on Tesla, they’re still dominating all things EV. I’m in Northern VA and I swear…
If this was a Tesla or any other EV (but especially if it was a Tesla) that would be in the headline. This car’s make and model aren’t even in the article.
Bro have You seen the shit You can get away with at a gas station *accidentally?*
Yes I’m sure the thousands of scientists working on designing this rocket didn’t study the N1 in any shape or form. You’re far superior in terms of intelligence.
The discount only applies to electric passenger cars priced below $50,000, and because the dual-motor version of the Model 3 starts at about $54,000, it hasn’t gotten the benefit of tax credits since the start of the year anyway.
So let me get this straight:
Oh yeah, the Supercharger network is very massive at this point. And the newer ones have like 16 charger stalls, where E.A. or EVgo typically has between 2 and 4 stalls.
There is something to be said about the ubiquity of Tesla’s supercharger set up. I see them in far more locations than the Electrify America chargers and I haven’t heard of any issues with a supercharger frying a Tesla. I am by no means a Tesla supporter but credit where credit is due when it comes to building up a…
This is a really misleading and in some places just wrong comment. A non-refundable tax credit has nothing to do with the amount of withholding that has already occurred at the time of filing. It is only based on the total tax obligation for a given year, regardless of the amount of withholding that has occurred.
The use dollar amount as the measure of luxury and not appointments.
AC doesn’t actually consume much energy. With the compressor at its lowest setting, it consumes about 1kW (or about 4 miles of range per hour), at full board 6kW (about 24 miles per hour).
An EV with ~300 miles of range stuck in traffic now has ~500 miles of range because the EPA rating was assuming 65mph @ ~4mi/kw, and when you’re crawling under 45mph you’re getting like 7mi/kw.
To combat the problem, we’ll need more folks charging their cars during the day, like while at work or out and about town.
