I’m now the same age Kurt was when he died so I obviously didn’t get to experience his rise and impact as it happened.

Nice. Paradise is so beautiful. I will have to say though that Ultraviolence is probably my favorite album of hers. I just love the whole atmosphere and feel of that album the most. But, they’re all pretty neck-in-neck.

Born to Die is her most versatile/accessible album while Honeymoon is her chillest album. And also her least dark, in my opinion. Maybe turning 30 changed her outlook a bit or maybe her relationship with Francesco wasn’t as troubled as the previous one with Barrie. Either way, she is my queen and I love everything

I screamed when I saw the title. I’m a massive Lana fan. I like how she’s not all over the place and not everyone “gets” what she does because it makes you feel a special affinity to her as a fan.

That’s so good to hear! I legit wanted him to adopt me and be my Dad when I was a teenager. So, I’m glad that he doesn’t disappoint in real life.

Very appropriate. Should I just reinvent myself and move to Buenos Aires? You never know what you’re going to get from me.

Of course. You know how fragile the women folk are with their monthly bleeding and their emotions.

No. No. NO.

I am believing the dementia/alzheimer’s rumors more and more each day.

Ugh, the age-old excuse/justification that assholes give for being emotionally or psychologically abusive toward children.

What??? That is some sadistic stuff.

I know what you mean. It wasn’t about the sexual content of the scene but about how this once lovely, radiant young woman with so much promise has to sink so low and be so completely objectified. They were all treated like total crap in that montage, which made it so heartbreaking because drug addicts are too often

“CNN reported on Wednesday that in addition to her major public mess ups, Conway is struggling behind the scenes”

Requiem for a Dream. Not only soul-crushingly sad but that final montage of all of them hitting rock bottom genuinely freaked me the fuck out the first time I saw it. I’m not easily rattled at all and my mouth was wide open and I was hiding behind my pillow as I watched.

Aw RIP Mama Joyce. That’s definitely one of the best episodes of the series.

Haha I just referenced that in my other comment. That lady won the comment section. (Edit: Mistakenly remembered the person as a guy)

Nope. I’m pretty much dancing. This administration is like a stack of Jenga blocks. They keep getting looser and slowly pulled out. Inevitably, this whole thing is going to crumble with just one wrong move. And to those who say “nothing is going to come out of it”, her public humiliation and a possible

You attended the VMA’s back in its heyday? I’m jealous.

That’s true. I do remember that shoot and while it wasn’t revealing, it was pretty racy, as far as the context of the photos. The interesting thing about Britney is that she played with that Lolita image very effectively in her early days, like with the “Baby One More Time” video. There was always this underlying

Yeah, as if she didn’t become famous by making a music video where she dressed as a sexy Catholic schoolgirl and sang a song that sounded like she wanted you to bang her again.
