Isn’t “imposing your views on other people” basically what a law is?

I was kind of excited about it until you said theres no hit chance anymore...  Im in the middle of an XCOM 2 ironman and mid-late game when you start getting all the upgrades, you can pretty much stomp everything really hard without trying.  Those uncharacteristic misses add enough randomness to force me to adapt and

To be fair, debating whether you have a gambling addiction on stream probably isnt a great look. Doubtful he would’ve acted the same had he heard the call of stream.

For their seething, if often warranted hatred of the far right Kotaku is surprisingly willing to shit out takes that omit vast amounts of information in order to shill a very specific take ALMOST like a certain former president they hate, but acknowledging that would require self awareness.

Ok, been wanting to try write this somewhere for a hot minute, and thisll do. Heres the one scenario where i think NFT’s actually enable something different.

I have to wonder if the economics of having studios that don’t do mega bucks just doesn’t work out for them anymore.

The only thing this tells me is that game dev spokespeople are getting a lot better at dealing with optics... Imagine if this wasn’t games. “We know people want more food, and we know we promised it to you, but we need to slow down to prioritize team health”

Why do people... continue to work there? If you have the talents to be a QA tester or a developer you have the talents to work somewhere else, and while the dream is cool nothing says “you need to fucking treat people better” than everybody refusing to work there until they do.

“Literally everyone hates black people.

I’m in agreement. Still think people that were super into it are somewhat easily pleased. At least linear games add some context and story if their combat is repetitive.

Holy FUCK. Yall at Kotaku must love when Amouranth does stuff because DAMN does she drive engagement for you. 100 Comments in like an hour?!? Not even hating, I respect the hustle.

Well shit!

For real?

I think the musou games have potential, but they never make you think hard enough to actually reach it. They need some other aspect of control. Like being able to directly guide your commanders or something. That would give me the RTS feel your talking about. Whenever i play them I ALMOST feel what youre talking about

The users are now stuck with “Generic Tokens”

I feel the literal exact opposite. If you don’t have to try, why bother playing something as opposed to just watching something?

I’m glad someone else said it... I definitely want asshoes to be called out but the whole story just feels vague... could very well just be how its written. At the very least its not something HR can ignore.

While i guess I can kinda get that, every OTHER aspect of the healing system I kind hate. Since you can carry upwards of like 30 healing items and you can use them as much as you want in any fight,(bar a VERY small cooldown) it never gets beyond faceroll easy even on hard.

I think theres a balance. Its cool to “discover things yourself” but i think they often verge on deliberately obfuscating things that, if you were present as a human being you would very quickly notice. Like fia’s hugs reducing vitality. If i hugged someone i think id notice if I suddenly felt less alive, but one more

If you wanna hate musk like go for it but the “video game culture” veil is thin on this one. Especially when you admit to only playing one game...
