a poor decision that a few people make.

Won’t someone think of the drunks?
About 1/3 of all traffic deaths are alcohol related, and it’s estimated that alcohol related crashes more than $120 billion in damages. I’m not saying I’m for mandatory breathalyzer tech, but if the cost was trivial and the accuracy were 100% it would be hard to argue against it.
“Why It Matters If He Strangled Her” is a weird header choice. Seems pretty self-evident.
The difference is that there is a powerful gun lobby giving a lot of money to Republicans to keep guns universally legal.
I don’t see the government ever mandating this over 10k drunk driving deaths/year. We’ve got >4x more gun deaths per year and the government (mainly R’s) really goes out of their way to ignore the problem.
The LEGAL presumption is innocence. He got the benefit of that presumption with the domestic violence allegation, and now he’s a free man. Doesn’t mean people who aren’t a judge or an empanelled member of his jury can’t look at his other skeevy behavior and draw their own conclusions.
The presumption is “not guilty” as far as the legal system is concerned. Employers can draw any conclusion they want.
Cool! Can’t wait for Justin Roiland to create the first animated show to air exclusively on Fox News.
You can continue to see more Rick & Morty since that’s not going anywhere. The plus side is theres one confirmed child groomer no longer working there too!
There’s a significantly greater chance of him being struck by lightning twice, winning the lottery, and being a victim of a shark attack than that happening.
I mean, there’s still all that horrific shit of him sliding into underage girls DMs and telling them they’re hot jailbait.
Mazin and Druckman need to stop worrying about how adapting every detail of the videogame needs to placate the rabid fans. I can understand wanting to replicate and keep story scenes, major character choices, wardrobe and dialogue similar in order to capture the spirit of the game, but they seem VERY concerned that…
Between the crappy reviews and Levi outing himself as a shithead, I don’t have high hopes for the box office.
Looking at their current vehicle lineup, using AI to design their cars would likely be an improvement.
Given that the Marvel family predates Power Rangers by a few decades, I think it’s more the other way around.
The cop wrote the ticket. The entire scenario only happened because the dumbass cop enforced a law he made up on the spot.
There’s always at least one bootlicker in here. Cops who abuse their authority to enforce laws that don’t exist absolutely should pay out of pocket for the trouble they cause. Until they do they will never act with restraint or accountability.
The cop isn’t the witness, he’s the perpetrator. He’s the criminal in this case, therefore, it should be his onus to pay court fines, not taxpayers.
Time to retrain that cop and I hope the judge reamed him for it. It’s important to remember that these kinds of cases tie up the courtrooms and cost the courts unrecoverable money.
