No.

Congratulations to all those who have pushed through to make this happen. This is such good news.

Excellent news. I recently left VV / Blizzard Albany after 3 years working QA there, and while the people at the studio were great, the contract conditions were not. Fortunately after Blizz took over, everyone in QA was converted to fulltime, but it was rough before then. While not as bad as some other horror stories

People like that make me realize that even the writers need to start using “/s” nowadays. Too many readers are too damn stupid.

I am far more sad for your reading comprehension

Widespread unionization is the only thing that will convince me to give up my years-long boycott of ActiBlizzard and its products. Good for the QA teams!

The faster the entire industry unionizes, the faster douchebags in the vein of Bobby Kotick can stop grinding people into dust, firing them, and pocketing 30 million dollars a year...

The Switch has been an absolute miracle for someone like me, usually bedridden or near enough due to badly damaged spinal nerves: it can toss and turn w me and I don’t have to tether my head/neck towards a fixed spot (like a television). The last “next gen” game I played was Dragon Age Inquisition on my XB1 (now sold

I love my Steam Deck, but I also think there’s still merit to the Switch! I always forget how slim the Switch is until I pick it up after playing my Deck for a while, and I completely underestimated how much I like having removable controllers on the side of it compared to the Deck needing a controller to pair with.

I hate Twitter and deleted my account months ago, so...maybe rethink your assumptions? Is it conceivable you might be wrong? I thought you were unfair to the guy who responded to you. He was not being defensive. That’s all. I don’t know why this is such a big deal to you.

Weird how you rewrote my post and made it all-caps and changed all the words. It sounds like you know your victim complex wasn’t really justified here, and you have to rewrite the rest of the world in order to keep up this fantasy.

Nobody’s being defensive. Your victim complex is just sad. Sorry you spent money on a Switch, sorry you don’t like it. I don’t like it much either. But please stop imagining you’re some martyr because a person suggested maybe the Switch wasn’t a perfect fit for you.

Look friendo, I can’t emphasize this enough: nobody cares. You claimed Switch fans were defensive because of something you said, but instead the truth is nobody cares. The person who responded to you correctly stated that you probably wouldn’t have enjoyed the Switch if you didn’t care about Nintendo exclusives. And

Imagine being the guy who’s single-handedly responsible for Kotaku never again getting Nintendo games to review, and still begging people to pirate Nintendo games in every damn article he writes.

You seem to be confusing “Nobody cares” with “A lot of Nintendo fans care.” Common mistake.

The deck is digital only, so it’ll never get any attention from me. I only buy physical games, because if I’m going to spend money buying a game, I actually want to OWN that game. And if you can’t resell it, you don’t own it. I know steams whole deal is digital, but that ensures people like me will never be customers.

I waiting for the Steam Deck 2 because we all know it will be the last Steam Deck Valve ever makes.

Bayonetta 3 doesn’t “run like crap”. Stop saying nonsense (that’s not even what Digital Foundry claims in the video you linked).

The Steam Deck is what you get if you take the only feature of the Switch I couldn’t care less about and build an entire console around it. If there was a version of the Switch that could only play in TV mode and was $1 cheaper I’d have picked that one in a heartbeat.

And if you’re really lucky it won’t melt in your hands.
