And then it went hog-wild.

Indeed.  Except about season 1 of TNG.  It had a few gems.  The pilot established the mission statement for the show: Had humanity advanced beyond being a “dangerous child race”, and Geordi was a more interesting character in my opinion.  He was enthusiastic rather than the dour sad sack that destroyed the

I’ve heard mixed reviews so far. Since Discovery was a magnificently stunning disappointment, I’m not getting my hopes up.

Everyone is so quick to be offended.

I love Stacey Abrams, and think she would be an excellent VP. Voting rights needs to be the primary focus of the Biden presidency considering that modern Republicans seem to be increasingly comfortable with subverting and suppressing the vote and using any and all dirty tricks to steal elections.

Alita-One’s voice acting was like a tele-novella.  Like loudness equals acting.  Irritating.

I wondered about this, too. Then I realized that their vehicle forms are based on the toy line. But one wonders why the toy line didn’t have Cybertronian modes, though I suspect the answer is because they wanted the characters to transform into their iconic vehicle forms from past shows/movies. Disappointing.

Even if Biden wins in a landslide, Trump, with the help of Barr, could steal the election through voter suppression, and throwing out ballots.

Trump and Barr will steal the election even if Biden wins in a landslide.  Yeah, I’m feeling pretty cynical.

And I’d only add Bill & Ted Face The Music is going VOD, soooo....

I’ve heard it referred to as the “CalArts” style. Presumably from the California Institute for the Arts school in Santa Clarita.  However, I suspect that they are all using “Toon Boom” software which makes everything look the same.

CBS has released a few new photos from Star Trek: Lower Decks.”

Indeed. Even if our actions are predetermined, I am predetermined to not pay $30 to see Mulan, nor do I have any desire to do so as I have not even bothered to see the original.

Nah, the new Tick was too dark and not silly enough.  Which seems to be a thing these days.

No thanks.  I watched the first season and it was just too damn cynical for me.  I got enough cynicism in my day-to-day.

And yet I will shell out the extra dough because my luck with PCs has been abysmal.

Then I am part of the 1% who is currently trying to determine if I should buy this iMac or wait for ARM because my current iMac is struggling and I don’t want to wait another year.

Uhg!  Now I have to either nurse-maid my current iMac until the ARM iMac arrives (which may be a year or even longer), or buy the last of the Intel Macs and hope it lasts.

Nah. I think Trek is strong enough to withstand a few years of laying fallow. Whether or not that results in a better show/movies is an open question. JJ Abrams certainly didn’t do Trek any favors after his reboot. Thankfully, it looks like we won’t be seeing any more movies in that particular timeline.

I get this for tutorial videos on YouTube, but honestly, what is the point of doing this for TV shows and movies?  Makes zero sense.
