Yet another incident added to the long list of incidents that beg the question “what is the point of the police?” 

The Orville has always felt like a TNG Cover Band. In the first season, almost every episode you could identify exactly which TNG (or DS9 or Voyager) they were covering.  Now, through the second season, they evolved into a pretty damn good cover band, but still.

The Orville received a nice boost due to Discovery being awful. However, now there’s good Star Trek, and they pushed Orville to streaming only (after a LONG break), so I’m guessing season 3 will probably be the end of it. I hope not, though.
