Avatar made money because it hit some magical Goldilocks zone where we all believed in Cameron and were excited about 3D, and really weird sci-fi stuff wasn’t as much of a turn off to audiences.  But…

The Dow Jones is down around 9% over the last 6 months, Nasdaq ~25%.

Bitcoin is down 40% across the same six months.
